"One of the signs that a female gorilla is in love is that she can be seen picking nits off her male companion." So said "Sex and the City's" Carrie Bradshaw in a recent episode of the hit HBO series. Although these words of wisdom -- written by SATC staff writers Julie Rottenberg and Elisa Zuritsky -- were being used as a metaphor for overly critical women, they nonetheless touched on an issue I've been wondering about for a while. Namely, why exactly women love to pick at their partners. And I mean picking, in the literal -- not metaphorical -- sense. As in: skin, hair and nails. As in: popping, squeezing, sloughing, scraping, trimming. No one admits to it (unless, well, pressed) but almost everyone does it.

why women like to de-zit their men

Out of the closet, zit-pickers...how ridiculous is it that people have to be ashamed or hide the fact that they enjoy grooming family, friends, lovers. Could we possibly be more uptight about universal, human behavior? If somebody interviewed me, I would be proud of why I like to pop zits.........definitely a part of foreplay...doesn't everybody know that? Harumph!

Here's the short scoop:

I was adopted at birth in 1958.
I've lived 52 years being ok with that whole adoption thing.

Yesterday I got an email from my "Birth Sister".

I just got off the phone with her 20 minnits ago.

Very informative.

Seems everybody was a sluut back then.
And they lived in hard times, on and off.

My birth mom died in '05.

A year later, there was a family reunion of peeps I never new about.
Somebody's Aunt spilled the beans about "Baby Boy Richie" in 1958.

That's me.

Sunny, whom I spoke with, took up a personal crusade to find out about this newfound mystery.
It took her 3 years to find me.

Glad she did.

I have 3 sisters and a bro, on Mom's side of the Clan.
This blows my "only child" theory outta the waterbag.

There's a bunch of them blood reletives out there. And they're coming for me.

Christmas is gonna be brutal for me this year. lol.

More as developments occur.

I told Sunny that the best hotel accomodations are in Wendover.
She tells me the oldest Sister lives in Utah and visits Wendover frequently.
My exact location is now well known.

Get a load of this: Sunny said she posted to facebook saying "Guess what? I'm going to Montello Nevada!"

She got a load of replies, saying "Why would you want to go there?"

Obviously they've been here. And now they're dissin' the joint.

Sunny is gonna clean their clock by telling why.

Whatever you do....don't be too enthusiastic....just get to now them first and take small steps.

Ya don't want to scare them off before they get to know you.

So play it cool....ask lots of questions.....and don't go inviting yourself to be their houseguest until they ask you first.
