This is not something that many people give a lot of consideration. But think about it. It is a product that everyone needs all the time. In that regard, it is placed in a pretty special category with other essentials that you simply cannot go without.

This means that toilet paper is a pretty important resource, but it is also a finite one.

No matter how many supplies of toilet paper you buy, it is a single-use item, one which literally gets flushed down the toilet after being used. This not only represents a waste of money, but also an actual waste which you might have to deal with if your plumbing is damaged when SHTF. Therefore, it would make sense to look at homemade alternatives for toilet paper.

Big Tech has essentially fused with the establishment.

Decades of politicking and propaganda have put the power of the establishment largely in the hands of the Left.

And the Left is using Big Tech to punish conservatives with a disturbing new tactic.

Fascist implementations are already afoot in America.

The Left can’t use the state to take out most of their political opponents, so Big Tech companies are stepping in.

Most people on the Left are leftists first, and everything else second.

So companies are eager to ban conservatives who become too much of a problem.

The strategy that’s being employed is to attack people’s wallets by making it incredibly difficult for them to do business.

For example, the crowdfunding site Patreon banned political pundit Lauren Southern because she allegedly violated content policy.

Patreon CEO Jack Conte said Southern exhibited “manifest observable behavior” – which has the ominous acronym MOB – that ran afoul of content policy.

Southern is one of many right-wingers who committed nebulous MOB violations on one platform or another.

Historian and Jihad Watch founder Robert Spencer was barred from Patreon not because of a violation, but because Mastercard threatened to decouple from Patreon if the company didn’t boot Spencer.

Perhaps the most insidious behavior is people being booted from their banks for arbitrary reasons.

“Earlier this year, Wells Fargo shut down the bank account of 2020 GOP senate candidate Lauren Witzke, and conservative activist and writer Pete D’Abrosca on the same day. Chase Bank shut down a slew of conservative and right-wing accounts in 2019, and undercover journalists at Project Veritas later obtained a tape of a Chase employee stating that the company can cut off banking services on the basis of ‘moral character.’”

It’s easy to see where this goes, especially in light of Donald Trump being booted from every single social media platform after the Capitol Hill riot.

Uber and AirBnB have already denied service to conservatives.

Pinterest labeled pro-life content as “pornography” to get it censored.

A Christian whistleblower at the company exposed that insane bias.

Leftists at these companies don’t see anything wrong with what they’re doing, especially since they’ve been told for five years that Trump is “literally Hitler” and all of his supporters are brownshirts.

In their mind, they have no choice but to silence and financially blacklist conservatives.

Pelosi Immediately Ignores Her Own New Mask Mandate, Along With Other Top Democrats

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi published new COVID-19 masking rules on July 28 titled “Wearing of Masks Mandatory at All Times for USCP Personnel in Interior Spaces on Capitol Ground.”

The rules state, “Therefore, effective immediately, to promote the good health and well-being of our employees, all USCP personnel must wear a mask at all times when in interior spaces throughout the Capitol Grounds.”

“Although this applies to Members of Congress, officers should not arrest any Member for failure to wear a mask or to comply with the mask mandate. Any Member who fails to comply with a request to wear a mask should be reported to the House Sergeant at Arms office. Suppose a staffer, who is accompanying a Member, refuses to wear a mask. In that case, that refusal should be noted and reported to a supervisor who will, in turn, refer the matter to the House Sergeant at Arms,” the rules continue.

Although the rules apply to “all staff and visitors,” and say that “any person who fails to either comply or leave the premises after being asked to do so would be subject to an arrest for unlawful entry,” it didn’t take long for Pelosi and some of her high-profile colleagues to ignore the mandate.

Pelosi was seen later in the week on Capitol grounds with a mask pulled down below her chin while in a crowd of people, all of whom appeared to be complying with the mandate.

Tree felling gone wrong

It was an old growth tree that some say had been dead and leaning for some time. AAA Tree Service was doing the work to take it down July 30. The felling project didn’t go quite as planned.
Around noon the tree came down near the intersection of Shasta Road and Ridgecrest Drive in upper Moonridge in Big Bear Lake. It took out three vehicles and a house when it landed.

One of the contractors said all the precautions were taken, but the dry rot was so extensive it couldn’t be accounted for and the tree came down in an unplanned fashion. No one was in the vehicle nor in the house and there were no injuries. A power line did come down with the tree.

“This is not a great day,” said Josh Spann from Escondido. Spann, along with friends and family, was out hiking when the tree fell on his vehicle. He said there were two families and they saw the tree company when they arrived. They were told the tree would be coming down in about two hours, so they set out on their hike. When they were returning about an hour later, they could hear the work going on to take down the tree and commented that it was close to their car. When they got back, close was an understatement.
Spann said his family has had a lot of bad luck lately and now is without a car at all. He said the tree workers should have told him to park away from the area.

The house that was damaged is a second home and wasn’t occupied at the time. A neighbor in the area said the owners don’t come up often and don’t rent it out. But the home had recently been renovated, the neighbor said.

AAA Tree Service was apparently taking the tree down for the Forest Service, but that has not been confirmed. AAA Tree Service is out of Big Bear City and is licensed.

The ATF’s Latest Proposed Regulation Could Make 40 Million Gun Owners Felons Overnight

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives has published a notice outlining their plans to update regulations on stabilizing braces.

Originally developed to help those with disabilities shoot comfortably, stabilizing braces have become a popular firearm accessory used to legally adapt AR-style pistols into guns that can be shot from the shoulder, like the highly regulated short-barreled rifle.

According to the ATF, stabilizing braces will now have to conform to a set of stringent guidelines to be considered legal. If they don’t meet those standards, they—and the gun to which they’re attached—will automatically become regulated as a rifle under the National Firearms Act.

This isn’t the first time the ATF or the DOJ have attempted to regulate this popular accessory. A similar reclassification was proposed back in December, but it was shot down due to uproar from lawmakers and the firearm community. However, after pistol-braced firearms were used in two recent, high-profile mass shootings, the ATF has circled back to the issue and seems more motivated than ever.
