Fox News’ Brit Hume Questions If AOC’s ‘Squad’ Has ‘Any Real Historical Knowledge’

Brit Hume went on Fox News on Sunday to respond to a tweet in which Rep. Cori Bush (D-MO) claimed that black people were not “free.”

Cori Bush’s July Fourth Text
“When they say that the 4th of July is about American freedom, remember this: the freedom they’re referring to is for white people. This land is stolen land and Black people still aren’t free,” tweeted Bush, who is a member of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s (D-NY) radically liberal “Squad.”

Hume fired back by questioning if members of the “Squad” have any real knowledge of history.

“That’s one more sign of how open this country has become and how much more opportunity is available now to minority populations than ever used to be the case,” he said.

How did incompetence win the election? This mook can't run water, much less America.

A confused Joe Biden checked his notes and jaws dropped after this one question from a reporter

Joe Biden is the oldest President in history to assume the Oval Office.

At his age many would excuse the average citizen for working from notes.

But a confused President Joe Biden checked his notes and jaws dropped after this one question from a reporter.

The press is known for tossing softballs to Democrat politicians and presidents. But it’s not a good look when a President has to pull notes from his pocket just to answer questions.

It was already clear to most Americans that the elite media is unusually delicate about what they ask Joe Biden.

But now Americans have to wonder if they’re hiding something serious about Joe Biden’s mental health.

They refuse to challenge him or ask him tough questions about real issues.

Instead, they ask him things like what flavor ice cream or soda he prefers – questions they know Biden won’t struggle to find an answer and fuel more speculation about his mental faculties.

However, on a recent trip, a reporter asked Joe Biden about the 1,000 businesses around the world that were just hit by a massive cyberattack.

The attack was likely the biggest attack of its kind in history. Early reports hinted toward Russian hackers being responsible and came just a few weeks after Biden claimed to have strongly warned Russian President Vladimir Putin to crack down on hacking groups in his country after the Colonial Pipeline shutdown sparked national interest.

Biden has repeatedly talked about cybersecurity as a big focus for his administration from day one and many assumed he was monitoring any such attacks carefully, while some suggest it’s largely part of the political cover for increased surveillance on American citizens tied to his domestic war on terror.

But when the reporter asked Biden about the recent attacks, he froze up, twice, and appeared very confused.

After a moment, Biden reached into his pocket for an index card with notes where he appeared to read off talking points about the cyberattack.

After Joe Biden’s latest mental freeze up, more and more Americans are questioning Joe Biden’s mental faculties and whether there are larger problems as the incidents continue to pile up.

And it will make more folks speculate whether or not he has the health to run for President again in 2024, let alone finding the toilet tomorrow morning.

WATCH: Press secretary STUNS reporters, implies Biden would support new LOCKDOWNS
Are they prepping us for lockdowns part 2?

On "The Rubin Report" this week, BlazeTV host Dave Rubin discussed comments from White House press secretary Jen Psaki suggesting that President Joe Biden would "certainly support" any measures that the states felt were necessary to keep people safe from COVID-19.

Asked if the White House would reimpose any COVID-19 restrictions if the delta variant of COVID-19 continues to increase, Psaki responded with saying, "States are going to have to make evaluations and local communities are going to have to make evaluations about what's in their interest. And, as you know, there are much higher rates of vaccinations in some parts of the country over others, and we certainly support their decisions to implement any measures that they think will help their communities [be] safe."

I'm not quite sure why my dog dislikes other dogs. I adopted him 1 1/2 yrs ago and still learning his ways. I could be wrong in asking people.. please grab your unleashed dog. Instead of getting offended or being an offended  ordure-imbued or smart ass dumbshit, I'm asking so YOUR dog doesn't run up on mine and gets hurt. Am I wrong?

You're not wrong; dogs should be leashed when out in public. Ours are 11 yrs old, adopted littermates and they flip out when a dog runs up on them. Sadly, our new, semi-hippie neighbors who grew up in the country have never leashed their dog. It's fine in the back area, but yesterday I saw them cross San Moritz Dr. and take him to the lake, especially bad during a holiday weekend. They are nice but young and although I've told them they should at the very least get a collar and tags (puppy got out and ended up in our driveway), they don't believe in it. It's sad, beautiful dog, but his luck won't last forever.

Chris Merrill ya, some people just don't get it. When I see dogs off leash while walking mine, I ask them if they'll leash their dog cuz mine aren't so dog-friendly. Over the past 10 years, all but 2 I can recall have been nice about it. Too many owners don't know that dogs have to be properly introduced though.

One of my rescues doesn’t like other dogs. We can’t take her on walks because people don’t put their dog on a leash. If the dog runs up to mine, she will fight. She’s always on a leash. It’s not fair to her that people can’t follow the leash laws.

My roomies pup is not animal friendly too. When she was 5 months, dogs would run up on her and he would scoop her up.. she’s too heavy now and he hollers at people to please leash their dogs. Many gives Attitude and refuse, and when their dog approaches him they see why he made the request… his dog protects him from all other animals now because of being attacked so many times when she was a little pup 😳
So you are correct…
Leash law is for a reason.. safety for both animals and folks.

I won't waste your time by pointing out the obvious issues here. You live in an area where people like to let their dogs have a little freedom. I won't debate the issue but it is what it is. Most dogs out walking with their owners are well mannered. Your dog is the outlier. Again, not judging. You may have to focus on what you have within your control. Look for different areas or times when other dogs won't be out. Also, you can walk the same area religiously at the same time every day. This is a subtle way to train the other dog owners that your dog will be out. Otherwise, warning others that your dog may not react well to other dogs is a good habit.
 ·

the obvious is that living in an area where people like their freedom does not entitle them to force their beliefs or behavior on others. Asking folks to be good neighbors is normal ... she is not an outlier as the replies prove

We had a dog like that, and people would always allow their dogs to run up to ours, while calling (from a distance), "It's okay, he's/she's friendly!" We would have to protect both dogs while calling back, "ours isn't!" We ended up walking our dog at midnight. You shouldn't have to do that, and even though people have the right to feel offended if they want, their offense, in my opinion is unjustified when it is they who are allowing the problem to occur.

Your dog's life depends on the owner's understanding of their dogs behavior. PERIOD!
Not everyone is a responsible pet owner & it is tough 4 those of us that try to be! 😔 My loving Lillie 🐕 is amazing with greeting most humans (big & small), but I was once bit by a stray dog (bc I underestimated what she would do to protect me from a perceived threat)!
So love your dog enough to leash them when out in public with other people & pets, bc they sense different perceived threats then we do. 💯

You don't think it will happen until you are in ER with a painful dog bite from trying to save (2) dogs. 😔🤯💔 Happily, Lillie & the stray were ok, but my hand took awhile to heal!

Yes they are. They have gotten a bad reputation because of owners who don't deal with the aggression and frequently encourage it - they must be socialized. There are no "Bad Dogs" just irresponsible owners. It isn't too much to ask people to Muzzle an aggressive dog.

I have a dog like that and when I walk him, I put a muzzle on him. It's a soft muzzle and works very well. If someone comes up to him, another dog comes up to, or by him, a deer or other animal startles him, he can't bite. You would be better off doing that than asking other people to make sure they leash their dogs...you have control over one animal, and that is yours. You may not like it, but it's up to you. In the long run, it protects both you and your dog.

So tragic. I am at least relieved somewhat that this was apparently due to a car accident, and not yet another potential victim of a serial killer. (Evidence is starting to mount that there may be serial killer present in the Running Springs area, based on the number of persons/hikers that continue to go missing from the area)

I'm not obviously, as this case was due to a car accident. That said, it's less than an hour from here via the 138. If there is a serial killer operating in the Running Springs area, then it would make sense to examine missing persons data in the entire region to search for possible links.

Such a tragedy for this young couples family . totally unrealated to these other events. People dying or becoming missing in a mountain range ( any mountain range ) is common because people go hiking not prepaired or experienced and will get dehydrated, trip ,fall, or encounter wild life. Don Clement This is actual fact about the killer of these kids at CEDU. Believe me I don't take this lightly. If you Google CEDU school Running Springs, you can read about this yourself.

David Franklin The cause of death in this case wasn't shown to be murder. The jump from finding bodies every couple of years to serial killer is quite a leap. But for those credulous people out there...

I was in “In School Suspension” aka ISS at Rim on almost a daily basis in high school in the ‘90’s. Spent lots of time in there with John…. who ended up being a serial killer. Sets the bar pretty low for me. No matter what mess I get into I can always fall back on… “at least I didn’t become a serial killer.”

Grave Spotlight
In a way, cemeteries are like libraries. They contain the final resting places of thousands of people, each with their own separate and unique story. Some of these people are famous, and their stories are well known. Most are not, but that doesn't make their life any less interesting or their stories any less worthy of being told and remembered.

Periodically, we'll spotlight a different Los Angeles-area grave. Every person has a story, and we will use this space to tell their story, through their final resting place.

After your tour of the virtual cemetery, don't forget to visit the official CemeteryGuide.com store (or the brand new CemeteryGuide.com downtown location) on your way out and pick up a souvenir or two. Thanks!

Steve Parent
(Feb. 12, 1951 - Aug. 9, 1969)

Aug. 9, 2009 -- Steven Earl Parent was not a famous person in life. But he became famous because of the tragic and horrible circumstances of his death.

Parent was the first victim -- and probably the least known -- of what has become known as the Manson family. In the summer of 1969, Parent had just graduated from Arroyo High School in El Monte, Calif., with plans to attend Citrus Junior College in Azusa in September. During the summer, he worked as both a delivery boy for Valley City Plumbing Company in Rosemead, and a salesman for Jonas Miller Stereo on Wilshire Boulevard in Los Angeles. Parent loved electronics, and was fascinated by taking radios apart to see how they worked, and putting them back together.

During the summer, Parent met William Garretson, who was the caretaker at a house at 10050 Cielo Drive in Benedict Canyon, which, at the time, was being rented by director Roman Polanski, and his wife, actress Sharon Tate.

On the night of Aug. 8, 1969, Parent drove to the Cielo Drive house, hoping to sell a clock radio to Garretson, who was living in a guesthouse on the property. Garretson decided not to buy it, and Parent left the guesthouse shortly after midnight.

While Parent was driving to the gates of the property, four members of the Manson "family" were cutting the phone lines and entering the property near the same gates. Parent drove his father's 1966 white AMC Rambler from the guesthouse, and stopped to push the button that opened the electronic gate. As Parent rolled down his window, Manson follower Charles "Tex" Watson pointed a .22-caliber handgun at him and ordered him to stop.

"Please don't hurt me," Parent said. "I won't say anything." As Parent raised his arm to protect himself, Watson fired four times, hitting Parent in the face and chest. Parent died at the scene. He was 18 years old.

Three of the Manson followers -- Watson, Susan Atkins and Patricia Krenwinkel -- then went inside the house on Cielo Drive and brutally killed Sharon Tate and her unborn son, Jay Sebring, Abigail Folger and Wojciech Frykowski. A fourth follower, Linda Kasabian, stayed outside. Garretson was not injured, and he apparently heard nothing from the guesthouse.

When police arrived at the crime scene, they found Parent's body where he had been shot, slumped over into the passenger seat of the Rambler, covered in blood.

Funeral services for Steven Parent were held on Aug. 13, 1969, at the Church of the Nativity in El Monte. He was buried at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Rowland Heights.

On the Ed Sullivan show, did all the rock and roll acts lip sync their songs, including The Beatles?
They show tapes of the Ed Sullivan Show all the time on the PBS.

One thing you should know is that Ed Sullivan ran a live show. He had a great Orchestra and Orchestra conductor. It didn't matter if you were from a Broadway show, an opera singer, a legitimate popular singer like Barbra Streisand or a rock and roll group like the Dave Clark Five:

Everybody sang with the orchestra or with a group. Performances were live there was no lip-synching on The Ed Sullivan Show; it was a class Prime Time show.

Shows like Dick Clark's American Bandstand which were not primetime more often liked lip-syncing. Variety shows that were on Primetime had a choice, but the upscale ones had live performances.

Ed Sullivan demanded that everyone do a run-through live and if their song was too long the orchestra or the individual musicians had to cut it.

I'm surprised you would even ask this question.

It is well known that he would ask questionable rock groups to change their lyrics Just for his show because it was a family show.

The Stones changed their lyrics but the Doors agreed to do it and didn't. So Jim Morrison and The Doors were banned from the show.

Sullivan didn't invite performers to his Live program who could not produce a live performance.

But he would allow performers to videotape a live performance from another country or venue when they couldn't come to the show in person. The Beatles and the Dave Clark Five did that a number of times.

What the hell is the title of Jeopardy!’s theme song?

"Wheels"
"What Is …?"
"Contemplation Station"
"Think!"
32%
Correct

When “Jeopardy!” creator Merv Griffin hummed a made-up lullaby for his son, he never imagined it would earn him millions. Griffin claims he came up with the song “Think!” in less than a minute, and later realized it would be a good fit for his new game show. While “Jeopardy!” tried out a few theme songs in its earlier years, “Think!” has always played during Final Jeopardy. Griffin once estimated the song had made him between $70 and $80 million, which is certainly more than any of the shows contestants have ever walked away with!

There has never been a Dance dedicated to the tune. Pretty lame, huh?

The current Jeopardy theme song is called "Think!" and was written by Merv Griffin as a lullaby for his son. The original title was "A Time for Tony".
