Bleeding Heart-Felt Action Story. Right here. The "Latest".

By Ronald L. Culley
(That's what it says on my bus pass)

Chapter One

I don't make appointments any more.

Now, I go there and bust in.
No, not the Doctor Shack.

I had to go to the UPS Store, in The Village, Big Bear California
at PEAK SKIING SEASON.

I forgive the bus running late.
I got on and saw it myself.

The bus goes to Avalanche Mountain on it's way to The Village, see?

I get unloaded at the bus stop, 5 blocks away from my destination.
Skinny sidewalks.
50 warm bodys per second.
It reminded me of Disneyland in the 1970's.
I navigated with my cane.

UPS, deal is done.
I go away to see my old pal Murray.

https://www.yelp.com/biz/murrays-saloon-and-eatery-big-bear-lake

He has a smokers bench out front.
I'm there.
A young woman gets chatty with me, after I offered to sit with me, refused and she gave me a light.

Names exchange. I forget hers.
I made sure she remembers mine.
It worked.

She said she is a Shoppekeeper in the 'Hood.
I was said to be a Tello. (It's all I got right now)

We go into the Pub together, then separate.
3 open tables, I take the 2-seater next to the front door.
She takes the Bar where a fresh one awaited her.

I order, then down a mug o' Mystery Beer.

Step out to the bench. Smoke a smoke and wait to pee, cuz
a piss attack on a public bus is not cool.

I had time.
Like the time I was still on the bench, the GrrL steps out to leave
but first:

She smiled at me, shook my good hand and issued a kiss.
The cheeky one.

I'm all.....

And then her parting words: "I'll see you soon".

Theories:

1) It's happened before. At Murray's.
I met a chick, say my name and BLAM my drumset is on her phone.
So, maybe it happened again?
ABSOLUTELY!
I do the research first, then get involved.
She did. Did I mention I forget her name?

2) Cop

3) Fake

4) smee

Later, on the bus home, I got home.

Maybe I should print business cards again.

DC Superhero Zachary Levi Sparks Backlash After Agreeing That Pfizer Is a ‘Danger to the World’

January 29, 2023

On Sunday, actor Zachary Levi posted a tweet critical of pharmaceutical giant Pfizer, which left fans wondering if he was opposed to vaccinations.

The star of Shazam, which will be releasing a sequel to the hit superhero movie Shazam! Fury of the Gods on March 17, quote tweeted a post from an account which was from an account which openly criticized Pfizer and other vaccines. The post asked if users “agree or not, that Pfizer is a real danger to the world?”

Levi, 42, wrote in his retweet, “Hardcore agree.”

Levi’s comments were made in the early hours on January 29 and were soon followed up with another reposted tweet, attaching a link to a report from the Justice Department that announced the “largest healthcare fraud settlement in history,” indicating Pfizer was responsible. This was originally released in 2009.

Levi added, “Just one example of what I’m referring to…”

The latest tweets from the star prompted backlash from social media users, who offered their own opinions in the replies to the tweet.

“Chuck was good but not good enough for you to be doing all this…” wrote one user.

“Blocked for disappointing nonsense,” wrote another.

A third added, “Here I was, actually kind of excited for your movie. But nah. I’m not supporting you now.”

Others, however, defended Levi, with one writing, “the way people jump to conclusions and assume the worst is the most toxic part of twitter.”

Singer/songwriter Five Times August cited the 2009 scandal, saying, “The same people who were at the company in 2009 are the same people who are at the company now. Just sayin’…”

The post also came just hours before Levi announced that his father had passed away after a long battle with cancer.

He shared a heartbreaking message titled “Papa D” and wrote, “Many of you have been asking for an update on my dad, Darrell. Though he fought valiantly until the end, my pop passed away peacefully a few days ago, surrounded by friends and family.”

The “American Underdog” star continued, “Watching anyone slowly die of cancer is one of the worst experiences I can attest to. But knowing that he is no longer trapped in his decaying body, and now singing karaoke in heaven, gives me so much peace and joy.”

The star expressed that all the “love” and “prayers” that were sent to his father has given him, “even more faith in humanity. Know that he felt and appreciated it all, as did our whole family.”

Levi concluded, “Sending you all endless love and light right back.”

“Hug those you love. Hug ‘em tight. Talk about everything you need to talk about. Say all the things. And when the time comes, release them to journey back to where it all began. Back to paradise. A place we’ll all be so lucky to return to some day,” he added in the caption.

10 Items You Can Repurpose

There are many things in our homes that no one uses, and they are present, making the place look shabby. Many will choose to be sustainable and recycle a lot of their things. Recycling is not just limited to art and craft. One can use a particular household item in a variety of different ways. We all must be familiar with the benefits of recycling, and it’s not any complex process. Recycling old household stuff helps you to use an item completely. It allows you to take the initiative to save the environment and helps you manage your household finances.

'The GOP Base Is Still Resentful Over the COVID Response'
In which the Leftmedia insists the real problem is that conservatives just won't let it go.

Nate Jackson

The headline above was taken straight from The Washington Post, which on Wednesday ran that title over a story explaining that "House Republicans aren't ready to forgive and forget on pandemic mandates and closures." Yeah, the summation of the last three years is definitely that Republicans are the ones who just won't let go of the coronavirus.

Indeed, the story begins with exactly that howler:

For many Americans, the relentless focus on covid seems largely a thing of the past. Far fewer people are wearing masks, businesses and schools are mostly open, and many people are living with the threat of contracting the virus.

But among activist Republicans, immense resentment persists at government policies aimed at curbing the pandemic, such as vaccine mandates, school closures and mask requirements.

Americans could all just forget about The Unpleasantness if those darns Republicans would just shut up and go away!

The Post doesn't bother noting that the Biden administration says it won't end the pandemic emergency declaration until May 11 — assuming the rug isn't pulled out from under us again, and despite Joe Biden declaring last September that "the pandemic is over."

However, the Post does tell its diminishing reader base that this is really just "an extension of conservatives' insistence on embracing false conspiracy theories, like saying vaccines are harmful and the virus isn't real." Let's translate with a couple of facts: The vaccines do have documented harmful side effects in some cases. Deaths from the virus were almost certainly overcounted in America.

There's no question many folks went too far into tin-foil hat territory, though we'd argue that's largely because of knee-jerk response to the mainstream media's glaring deception. Indeed, more than one "conspiracy theory" has turned out to be totally true, despite categorical lies like the Post just told.

This little episode reminds us of the "pandemic amnesty" proposal just before the midterm elections. It was, as our Thomas Gallatin observed at the time, a call to "just let bygones by bygones" motivated solely by election prospects.

So, again, let's recount a brief history of why millions of Americans still aim to hold accountable the politicians who stole so much from all of us in the name of public health.

At the outset of pandemic restrictions, Mark Alexander wondered, "Is the COVID-19 cure killing us?" The answer turned out to be a predictable "yes."

Of course the virus was real, and it was almost certainly released from a Chinese lab doing gain-of-function research with some U.S. tax dollars courtesy of Anthony Fauci. Leftmedia outlets instead peddled the ChiCom conspiracy theory that it just showed up one day in a wet market.

Fauci and his ilk then talked politicians from Donald Trump to Gavin Newsom into shutting down major aspects of the economy, when the proper response would have been to protect the elderly and otherwise vulnerable while allowing the rest of us to keep going and develop natural immunity.

Schoolchildren suffered immensely from being kept out of the classroom. Deaths of despair increased drastically as people lost jobs, retirement, and community. Families were forcibly kept apart, even when a loved one was dying. All the while, lockdowns did little to save lives.

Now, the Biden administration is floating lockdowns as a way to fight climate change. Yes, seriously.

Likewise, masks did little to stop infection, much less save lives. Nobody but nobody recommended masks for viruses until it became politically expedient to do so with this particular one. Experts knew masks didn't work before the pandemic. Fauci lied about them amidst flip-flopping on the issue. Experts still know masks generally don't work, including a massive new study concluding as much. Yet there are still mask mandates in various places across the U.S. These insane mandates only made people distrust authority and fomented division. Others remain so bamboozled they still wear masks while outdoors or in their cars — alone.

Then there were the vaccines. We certainly had hope early on that a vaccine would bring an end to the pandemic. We even applauded Trump's work to get the government out of the way of development. But let's just say history and experience have not been kind. At best, the vaccines didn't live up to their billing. At worst, otherwise unexplainable deaths arguably can be traced to vaccination side effects. Then there's that awfully inconvenient Pfizer video from last week.

Whatever your position on the merits of the vaccines, NO American should ever have been mandated to receive the jab. Biden's mandates were nothing but politicized tyranny.

The same goes for the censorship that ran rampant among Big Media and Big Tech. Say unapproved things about COVID, get "fact-checked," often with bogus misinformation, and silenced.

Runaway inflation is a result of responding to the disaster government created. Politicians shut down our economy, crashing and crushing everything, and then they rushed to spend trillions of your tax dollars to fill the hole they created. Biden's American Rescue Plan was the final straw that broke the camel's back, causing prices to skyrocket.

As for managing that spending, the Government Accountability Office just released an audit Wednesday — the same day as the WaPo article about how we should all just forget about the whole thing — revealing that Congress and federal agencies did next to nothing to prevent fraud amidst spending nearly $5 trillion. Even when fraud was discovered, the government did little to recoup the money.

Remember that the next time you pay $4 for a gallon of gas or $6 for a dozen eggs.

Anyone remember the 2020 election? Democrats used COVID as an excuse to rig the system with bulk-mail ballots and other measures to expand voting. The result was an increase in fraud, the extent of which we'll likely never know because of things like poor signature verification on mail ballots. The other result was a great expansion in participation among voters who don't know the first thing about American civics. Guess which party they tend to vote for.

We didn't even comprehensively cover the myriad problems we all endured over the last three years. But having remembered the outrageous and appalling things above, the scribes at The Washington Post think the real problem is that Republicans are "resentful."

Are people "resentful"? You're darn right we are, and we demand accountability from all the tyrants who pushed those policies and are still in charge.

Leftmedia Defends Abandoning Objectivity
A Washington Post editor argues that abandoning “objectivity” is the path toward rebuilding people’s trust in the media.

It has become increasingly obvious that truth is a commodity members of the Leftmedia don’t value very much if at all. Instead, emotionally compelling narratives used to deceive readers into believing a lie are a much more highly prized asset. Sharing accurate information with the goal of informing readers was once the standard of good journalism; that is now increasingly dismissed as antiquated. Indeed, the goal of objectivity in reporting is deemed problematic for apparently allowing for the continuing of “oppressive” social structures. These days, “journalists” are coming right out and saying that telling the truth is a problem because it may stand in the way of “progressive” change.

Back in the summer of 2016, not long after Donald Trump secured the Republican presidential nomination, The New York Times floated the notion that objectivity in journalism is actually a bad thing. The article, written by Jim Rutenberg, argued that these were dangerous times that could yield a Russian-compromised president sitting in the highest office in the land with unfettered access to America’s nuclear arsenal. Therefore, giving Americans the straight news with objectivity and balance was merely enabling a monster to win the presidency.

Many other scribes and talkingheads began openly arguing the same thing.

It was all nonsense, especially given the ensuing history — the loudly touted Russia-collusion conspiracy was a hoax seeded by Hillary Clinton and jumped upon by the deep state’s effort to sabotage a duly elected president who threatened their political agenda.

After all these lies finally came to light, one might have assumed those pushing against objectivity in journalism would have had to eat crow, but they didn’t. In fact, all the Leftmedia activists have done is double down.

The Washington Post’s former executive editor, Leonard Downie Jr., who is currently a professor at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University, asserts that newsrooms need to move beyond objectivity. Downie ridiculously claims that journalists can eschew objectivity and still build trust.

“Increasingly,” he opines, “reporters, editors and media critics argue that the concept of journalistic objectivity is a distortion of reality. They point out that the standard was dictated over decades by male editors in predominantly White newsrooms and reinforced their own view of the world. They believe that pursuing objectivity can lead to false balance or misleading ‘bothsidesism’ in covering stories about race, the treatment of women, LGBTQ+ rights, income inequality, climate change and many other subjects. And, in today’s diversifying newsrooms, they feel it negates many of their own identities, life experiences and cultural contexts, keeping them from pursuing truth in their work.”

In other words, the racist patriarchy furthered oppression of leftist victim groups, and therefore objectivity is bad — especially, he argues, at a time when we face threats to “the very survival of our democracy.” He asserts that “the concept of objectivity has prevented truly accurate reporting,” and then quotes Emilio Garcia-Ruiz, editor in chief of the San Francisco Chronicle, with the crux of his argument: “Objectivity has got to go.”

The one positive from this is that at least these activist “journalists” are increasingly willing to admit they are biased in their reporting, a reality that they have long denied.

Tell a lie long enough, and not only will people believe it, but you’ll turn it into the new “truth.” This is not journalism; it is peddling propaganda-based activism as journalism. This kind of thinking is why trust in the news media is nearly nonexistent, and for good reason. Yet Downie argues that openly abandoning objectivity in favor of activism will “forge a stronger connection between journalists and the public.”

Evidently, Leftmedia journalists want to share the same degree of the public’s trust as politicians.

If Leftmedia journalists embrace what Downie is preaching, then it will only result in further alienating the American public’s trust. The inherent nature of truth is that it is not subjective. Try as one might, truth cannot be bent or twisted; those are properties characteristic of deceitfulness and lying. And Americans have become very tired of that lying.

Mayor REQUIRES Divisive Brainwashing
NYC Mayor Adams Orders ‘Racial Equity’ Training

New York City Mayor Eric Adams mandated critical race theory-inspired training for all city employees, and critics charge that the root of the course is in itself racist.

Fox News Digital reported that all city employees must undergo the mandatory training by March 6. The city said in an email that all workers will receive “a framework to understand…the importance of racial equity…in the workplace.”

Of course, the basis of such training is the highly controversial critical race theory. Under this construct, the U.S. since its founding was and is structurally racist and by design oppressed minority groups to uphold White culture as dominant.

Adherents to CRT believe society may be divided into oppressor and oppressed classes, and these designations are based on so-called “privilege.”

Fox News Digital spoke with a source who protested the discussion of equity as opposing the concept that “we should treat everyone equally.” It is also believed that the city under Mayor Adams wants to approach hiring and municipal contracts through the “racial equity” lens.

Training materials that were reviewed claimed there is no scientific basis for race and that it is merely a system designed “on the arbitrary basis of skin color and other physical features.”

Furthermore, the course stated that “society has used race to establish and justify systems of power, privilege, exclusion and oppression.”

The mandatory training listed two other categories of racism besides that of an individual. Institutional racism, according to the course, is a structure “within public and private institutions” that harms others based on race or ethnicity.”

And systematic racism is woven into American culture, politics, and other aspects of society and “negatively impacts communities of color compared to White communities.”

There are sections of the forced training that call for creating “safe spaces” in workplaces where race may be discussed. Further, NYC employees need to be aware that they may have “unconscious bias” that is harmful to the city’s operations.

Whether this training is packaged as CRT or some other misguided effort at “equity,” it is essentially the same thing. The left is desperate to divide the country into “oppressor” and “oppressed,” and part of that effort is forcing people to be indoctrinated into something most want no part of.

The Newly Updated
‘Rule Of Threes’

Remembering survival priorities is a problem that survivors face any time they build a kit, plan or gather supplies and there are many mnemonics out there to help them.

One of the better ones is the Rule of Threes, but the original version omitted priorities such as security, signaling, and navigation, which I think most of us would agree to make it incomplete. For this reason, several modified versions of the Rule of Threes have been proffered and this article will relate the one that I use.

Shamed And Confused: Hunter Biden Seeks To Silence His Critics With This Move
Thursday, 02 February 2023

Hunter Biden is making a bold move by asking the Federal Government and the Delaware Attorney General to go after individuals who shared personal information from his laptop.

According to the letter sent by his lawyer to the Justice Department, Hunter Biden is targeting close allies of former President Donald Trump, including John Paul Mac Isaac (the laptop repair store owner), Rudy Giuliani, his attorney Robert Costello, Steve Bannon, Garrett Ziegler, Jack Maxey, and Yaacov Apelbaum.

Robert Costello, a lawyer for both Rudy Giuliani and Steve Bannon, told CBS News the letters to the Justice Department and Delaware were a "frivolous legal complaint trying to intimidate."

The news of Hunter Biden’s request has sparked a heated debate between political factions on either side of the aisle. While some view the move as a necessary step to protect his privacy and the right to information, others view it as a political ploy to silence his detractors.

Hunter Biden is now seeking to hold those individuals accountable for sharing his personal information without his permission. In a letter sent to the Justice Department on Wednesday, Hunter Biden’s lawyer asked for an investigation into those who accessed and disseminated the information from the laptop.

In a separate letter, Hunter Biden’s attorney also asked Fox News host Tucker Carlson to retract and apologize for making false and defamatory claims about Hunter Biden in relation to the laptop story.

Many have argued that Hunter Biden's move is a power play to silence those who have been critical of him and his family. Rudy Giuliani, for example, has been quite vocal in his criticism of Hunter Biden and the Biden family and has pushed the laptop story as a major campaign issue.

After Liberal Employee Refuses to Serve Cops – The Shift Manager Finds Out and Hands Him a Pink Slip
February 2, 2023

It’s becoming a common thing in blue cities for cops to get the shaft. We’re not just talking about Democrat leaders letting crime get out of hand. But thanks to the hate spread by leftists against police online, men and women who put their lives on the line for us are getting treated like second-class citizens.

Once again, this happened in the leftist city of San Francisco. According to a report, several police officers entered a local pizzeria. All they were looking to do was buy a quick slice. But the employee refused to serve them, kicking them out. But this time, when the news reached the owners’ ears, justice was served.

On Sunday night, the San Francisco Police Officer’s Association posted on Twitter that the officers were told they “were not welcome” at the Pizza Squared restaurant.

According to the union, they contacted the owners about the “shameful and hateful actions of one of their employees.” […]

“When our shift manager told us about the incident after it happened, we expressly told him we didn’t share his views & that he was out of line. He was fired at the end of the day.”

Well, look at that! I guess there are few decent folks left in San Francisco. When word reached the owners of the restaurant that the employee refused to serve the police, they fired him. According to a message they posted online, the worker was a trainee on this third day.

I guess he assumed he could spout his cop-hating views and get away with it. But the owners of the pizzeria said they didn’t share this anti-police workers’ views. The owners even reached out to the police union and apologized.

Now, why would someone go out of his way to insult police officers–on his third day of work? All we can conclude is that he felt comfortable doing it, because he was in San Francisco. Probably his circle of friends spews this kind of leftist hate all the time. And he just assumed his employers would do the same.

In numerous Democrat-run cities, people treat cops like the devil. These are men and women, our neighbors, who work to protect us. Every day they put on uniforms that are essentially targets on their backs. They face dangerous situations on an hourly basis.

And for that, they are treated like dirt by some Democrats. Thankfully, this guy learned a hard lesson. Maybe at his next job, he will treat the police with respect?

Batch Of Classified Documents Found On Walmart Clearance Shelf

Jan 23, 2023 · BabylonBee.com

SMYRNA, DE — Biden is once again embroiled in scandal after yet another box of his classified documents was found on the clearance shelf of a local Walmart.

The top secret documents were seen next to a $1 clearance bin filled with DVDs of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's documentary on the Green New Deal.

"The investigation into President Biden's misplacement of classified documents has reached a tipping point in which our agency is unable to cover for him by blaming Trump," said FBI spokesman Herf Derfler while agents hauled off boxes of classified documents from the location.

"We're poring over security footage," continued Derfler, "While we cannot divulge much, we are seeing video evidence that Hunter Biden frequented this location to make random purchases of pseudoephedrine, ether, paint thinner, ammonia, drain cleaner, and batteries. Totally random buys."

At publishing time, President Biden had made a visit to the local Walmart to assure citizens that the investigation of classified documents was over, then donned a Walmart vest and began greeting customers entering the store.

Biden White House Reeling Over New Report – GAO Investigation Shows Government Failed to Take Billions in Emergency Fraud Seriously
February 2, 2023

There is a reason Joe Biden refuses to end the COVID public health emergency. This “crisis” gives him power to demand huge sums of money from the American public. All in the name of battling a disease that has been around for nearly three years.

But we need to ask, where is all that money going? Since 2020, the federal government has churned out $4.6 trillion in debt spending to “battle” COVID. Yet a new report has come out from the Government Accountability Office. And not only has billions of dollars in COVID money been stolen by fraudsters. But Biden’s administration has done little to even stop it.

Not only did the glut of coronavirus-tied bailouts likely result in billions of dollars of fraud, but it happened because government agencies in many cases did not take even basic steps to prevent it, and in other cases have declined to try to claw back improper payments…

Three years after the pandemic began, rampant fraud turned out to be very much a reality.

How bad is it? Well, buckle up. The GAO’s report lists several areas where the government did nothing to stop fraudsters from stealing your money. The first one was unemployment fraud. Unemployment programs across the country already give out checks to undeserving people. But the report found that at least $163 billion in pandemic payments were given to cheats and liars.

Then there were the Paycheck Protect Program payouts. We’ve already learned, many times, of how people cheated this hastily put-together program. This program was set up by the Small Business Administration–which didn’t even set up an anti-fraud measure until after money was going out. Billions of dollars were given to cheats–and that money has not been recovered.

To make matters worse, as this money was going out Congress removed legal requirements that could have policed fraud from their COVID spending bills. That’s right, when Democrats were in power, they went out of their way to help fraudsters cheat the government.

It goes on and on from there. Clearly, Democrats have been using COVID as an excuse to throw away billions of Americans’ dollars. Much of that money is gone forever. Plenty of it Joe funneled to his donors and special interest groups. Of course, he doesn’t want this gravy train to end–even if it bankrupts our country.

But he’s going to have a hard time dealing with this report.
And the Three Amigos.

Dennis Clayson: Americans dislike the government: A reflection of division, not unity

A new Gallup poll found the greatest problem mentioned by Americans was the government (government/poor leadership). The current attitude towards government and its leaders was even more negative than the poll taken just two months ago.

Both Democrats and Republicans were in agreement that our government was the worst problem facing the nation.

The second worst problem was inflation; again, both political groups agreed.

Republicans listed immigration as the third worst problem, while Democrats listed the economy and race relations as the third. An interesting difference was moral decline… listed as the fifth worst problem by Republicans and dead last of all reported problems by Democrats.

One aspect of these polls, that goes back decades, is the influence of the media. The major concerns are almost always what the media has spent the most time and energy reporting. In the latest poll, you can see this in the difference between the Left and the Right. The issues making “the news” most in conservative media is the government, immigration, and inflation. Liberal media emphasized government, inflation, and race relations. Three times more conservative responders listed moral decline as the number one problem in America than did liberal-leaning responders.

Even though conservatives and liberals, through their political avatars, think there is something very wrong with government, the underlying reasons need not be the same. Trump mobilized at least half of the voting country by using the slogan “Make America Great Again.” Trump and the slogan drove liberals into a fury. Setting Trump’s personality traits aside, don’t liberals want a great America? Yes, but it is becoming increasingly clear that conservatives and liberals do not agree on what a great America should look like.

The government, to the chagrin of both sides, is not giving the country what either side wants.

Influential conservative commentators like Tucker Carlson maintain we no longer live in a representative, democratic country. The nation is now being governed by an unelected bureaucracy, sometimes referred to as “the Swamp,” while elected government officials spend their time posturing and doing whatever is necessary to leave office richer than when they entered.

Liberals, on the other hand, see a government that doesn’t give them what they want. The federal government refuses to exercise the power necessary to achieve their social goals. The Court ruling on abortion was outrageous and violated their “rights.” Last weekend, for example, after Tyre Nichols’ death at the hands of the police, activists essentially demanded that the federal government control all police actions in America. The idea that city and state governments can override social justice is evidence of a dysfunctional federal government that needs to be changed.

The problem of inflation perhaps is more complex. Conservatives put the blame for inflation squarely on the government. For them, spending trillions of dollars we do not have is government mismanagement at the highest level. Liberals also see inflation as a problem of government, but in a much different way. Inflation hurts the poor and those with fixed incomes worse than anyone else. These are the very people a proper government should be protecting and helping.

Disliking the government and its leaders, rather than showing Americans are united on issues, shows the depth of the nation’s divisions.

Squad Member Rashida Tlaib Has Hysterical Crying Fit After Ilhan Omar Booted from Committees for Anti-Semitism

FEBRUARY 3, 2023

Comedian Adam Carolla eviscerated far-left ‘Squad’ member Rashida Tlaib after she burst into a hysterical crying fit on the House floor over her fellow Squad Ilhan Omar getting the boot from a congressional committee.

In case you missed it, Omar (D-MN) was removed from her role on the Foreign Affairs Committee on Thursday due to her history of spreading anti-Semitic tropes.

Tlaib (D-MI), who has her own history of such comments, gave what the media will surely describe as an ‘impassioned’ speech, but to the average onlooker amounted to a hysterical temper tantrum from an emotionally stunted human being.

The congresswoman cried inconsolably as her speech dragged on and she was forced to yield her time.

“I am so sorry, sis, that our country is failing you today,” Talib said, her voice cracking. “The GOP is now doing what it is best at, weaponizing hate against a black, beautiful, Muslim woman.”

It is one of the most embarrassing things you’ll ever see in the halls of Congress.

Punxsutawney Phil Emerges From Burrow To Let Everyone Know There Are Some Documents Marked ‘Classified’ Down There

Feb 2, 2023 · BabylonBee.com

PUNXSUTAWNEY, PA — Locals and Groundhog Day enthusiasts alike were caught off-guard today, as the eponymous groundhog, Punxsutawney Phil, emerged from his burrow and declared to the crowd gathered at Gobbler's Knob that there was a cache of documents marked "Classified" in his underground home.

"I know you're all here waiting to find out if I saw my shadow and if there will be six more weeks of winter and all that stuff," Phil said, "but I thought you all might want to know that there's a big stack of files and folders down there stamped ‘Classified' and ‘Top Secret' in red ink. Not sure where they came from. These are probably important, right?"

DOJ officials scrambled to retrieve the documents from Phil's burrow as word began to spread among the assembled media that yet another hidden stash of Joe Biden's classified documents had been discovered. The White House quickly issued a statement on the incident. "These documents do, in fact, belong to the President," Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said. "The documents were, indeed, temporarily stuffed into the burrow of one Punxsutawney Phil by an unknown person. The documents, are, however, highly classified, therefore I am not at liberty to discuss the situation any further."

At publishing time, Punxsutawney Phil was reportedly planning to give an exclusive interview to Tucker Carlson this evening about overhearing people mentioning "the Ukraine deal" and "Hunter's laptop" last fall as they were stuffing the documents into his burrow, but he was quickly subdued, muzzled, and forcefully escorted away by federal agents for waterboarding at an undisclosed government location.
