It was closer to that today as well up here.

Let's just say I only put enough in on Monday to avoid having to push my car.

$2.21.9 at some places today , expected to rise to $2.40 over the long weekend

This is for 91 not high octane unleadeds ......thieving baskets ...odd places have it as low as about $1.85

I've locked in 152.7 cents per litre through the 7-Eleven fuel app.

I saw a Shell displaying 152.9 the other day (Thursday I think)  , and I can get 8c a litre off there so I chuck a u -ey at the next break in the island and by the time I pulled into the driveway (about 30 seconds) they had jacked the price up to $189.9 .... My two local stations 50m apart (calewx/amplol/woolworths and a united remained at about $1.53 all long weekend

Back to $1.6 still high but much much better than $2.39

Fuel is a merciless cost.

I want a horse-drawn carriage with nothing about which to worry but the price of hay.

For a moment, I was thinking, "Fuel is cheaper in NSW?" and then twigged... HAY.
