16-hour glitch

Dear members,

My apologies for the 16-hour glitch which affected all sites hosted on this particular server, including the OzRoundTable.

The problem was due to firewall and hardware issues. Everything has been repaired by the host server techs, and the server is running with a new chassis.

I would say "Thank you for your patience", but you might not have been patient. I have visions of some of you shaking your fists into the air and kicking your computer towers. But no - surely you would have spent the time in contemplation and perhaps even a prayerful retreat to a cave, thinking about your navels, about duckponds and about the classical Greek conception of the universe as moving in spheres...

At any rate, I'm sorry for the inconvenience, and welcome back.

Thanks to those who brought the site up again and dedicate so much unpaid and unrealised work keep this site going.  



Oh and I'd just like to say my navel is doing very nicely, my pond is very comfortable, I did find a nice cave and I am in awe of the mysteries of the universe.
