Joe Biden’s pants-on-fire lie of a white nationalist insurrection

The Democrats have a talent for avoiding responsibility for their contemptible actions by blaming them on the other side. A recent manifestation of this talent is President Biden’s attempt to deflect attention away from abhorrent behavior by scores of Democrat politicians. Throughout 2020, they shirked their duty to uphold the law in the face of civil disturbances. Biden wants you to pretend that never happened in order to rail against what he calls a “white nationalist insurrection.” Pants on fire! Biden should be ashamed to embrace this nonsense.

In his first joint address to the U.S. Congress on April 28, Biden identified white supremacy as the number-one domestic terror threat. He insisted that white supremacists pose a bigger threat than foreign actors. “We won’t ignore what our intelligence agencies have determined to be the most lethal terrorist threat to our homeland today,” Biden said. “White supremacy is terrorism.”

For seven months, Democrat mayors and governors refused to take action against leftist violence that destroyed our cities. In many cases, they supported the rioters. “You have to look pretty hard to find Democrats condemning fires, riots, violence, looting, stealing, burning police cars,” said author and political commentator Dennis Prager. If you condemn only what Republicans do and applaud what was done daily by leftists, says Prager, then you don’t care about truth. “Violent protests had been championed and normalized by Democrats and their media over the last four years,” Daniel Greenfield wrote in the Jewish Press. Greenfield is referring to the attempt by the media to characterize the ongoing violence as “peaceful protests,” an obvious fabrication.

The Most Photogenic Architectural Wonder in Every State

America’s natural beauty is far-reaching and unforgettable, from dramatic, rocky shores on each coast to vast plains, wetlands, mountain ranges, and dense forests. But some of the most wondrous U.S. landmarks are actually man-made — soaring suspension bridges, Art Deco-style skyscrapers, and even private homes that look plucked from a fairytale.

These structures stand on their own as not only feats of engineering and architectural innovation, but as true works of art. Every state in America is home to many of these magnificent structures, however, these 50 are arguably the most photogenic.

After Heavy Criticism on House to House Vax Campaign, Biden’s Regime Doubles Down

President Joe Biden announced on Tuesday that he will launch a COVID-19 vax campaign. In it, strangers would visit Americans in an effort to urge them to take the vaccine against the said disease.

In his announcement, Biden said that they need to go “community by community” or even door-to-door to make sure the rest of the people have protection from the virus.

This announcement has been met with scrutiny and backlash. Many think it’s a campaign that seems like it would happen in a Communist country.

However, instead of retracting this idea, Biden’s administration is doubling down on it.

On Thursday, in a CNN interview, Secretary Xavier Becerra of the Health and Human Services Department asserted that it is the government’s business to know which Americans have received the vaccine.

Joe Biden made one serious promise that means jail time for these Trump supporters

Joe Biden is going all in on his new domestic war on terror.

Instead of targeting foreign terrorists Joe Biden has his sights set on the 74,000,000 Americans that voted for Donald Trump.

And Joe Biden made one serious promise that means jail time for these Trump supporters.

Joe Biden fed the media hype about the so-called “insurrection” of January 6 by delivering a speech marking its six month anniversary.

Biden used his remarks to claim Trump supporters were more treasonous than the southern states in the Civil War by claiming they crossed a line the Confederate Army never did.

“Not even during the Civil War did insurrectionists breach our Capitol, the citadel of our democracy. But six months ago today, insurrectionists did. They launched a violent and deadly assault on the people’s house, on the people’s representatives, and on the Capitol police sworn to protect them, as our duly elected Congress carried out the sacred ritual of our republic and certified the Electoral College vote,” Biden mumbled.

Biden claimed the so-called “insurrection” was an attack that threatened to overthrow the entire United States government. In reality the events of January 6th lasted mere hours during which one person – a Trump supporter – died directly as a result of the events.

In his remarks Biden called for a new domestic war on terror focused on “hate” and “extremism” centered on an investigation into the events of January 6 so the government could round up and arrest even more Trump supporters for being at the Capitol that day.

“But while it shocked and saddened the nation and the world, six months later, we can say unequivocally that democracy did prevail — and that we must all continue the work to protect and preserve it,” Biden added. “That requires people of goodwill and courage to stand up to the hate, the lies, and the extremism that led to this vicious attack, including determining what happened so that we can remember it and not bury it hoping we forget.”

There was violence on January 6.

But it was not an “insurrection” that was designed to overthrow the U.S. government.

Most of the people arrested are not facing weapons charges or other violent crimes.

It was an ugly riot that was over in a couple of hours and paled in comparison to the Black Lives Matter attacks from the summer.

Democrats largely embraced those attacks and have told Americans “this is what democracy looks like” whenever out-of-control left-wing protests occur.

That was Democrats’ cry when Party and Union activists besieged state capitols early in the last decade in Michigan and Wisconsin. There violent activists scaled walls and broke windows to storm the building and went on to demand the ouster of then Governor Scott Walker.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, tweeted left-wing protesters’ actions at the Wisconsin Capitol were an “impressive show of democracy in action.”

Now she and Biden tried to convince Americans that the events on January 6 are an existential threat to “our Democracy.”

That’s despite Joe Biden saying only weeks ago you’d need “F-15’s and nukes” to take it on.

But now Joe Biden and Democrats are using it as pretense for their new domestic war on terror that threatens to land any of the 74,000,000 Americans who voted for Donald Trump in jail.

Just 10,000 Tune In To Biden 4th July Live Stream

The numbers are in. Joe Biden struggled to engage any Americans on the Fourth of July as he ordered them to get vaccinated, calling it the most patriotic thing anyone can do for their country.

As he squinted and stumbled through a 15 minute speech on the White House lawn that was solely devoted to fear mongering about COVID, fewer than 10,000 people joined the YouTube livestream.

That equates to around 0.003% of the population.

Yet he received a record 81 million votes in the election, apparently.

Joe Biden Malfunctions During Live TV Speech – The President Stalls Out, Repeats Over And Over ‘This Job’

What’s Happening:
At this point, even Democrats have to admit Biden isn’t working with a full deck.

They were so desperate to get rid of Trump, they put into office a man with serious mental problems.

The examples of Biden losing it—on live TV—are too many to count at this point. With each passing day, more evidence mounts that Biden is not well.

He recently attended an event and, of course, used a teleprompter to give remarks.

But clearly, there was a malfunction, both of the machine and Biden’s brain.

From YouTube:

President Joe Biden struggled to read the teleprompter and said “this job, this jobs, the jobs,” during remarks at a public transit center in La Crosse, Wisconsin on 6/29/2021.

Ugh, goodness gracious. How many times do we have to show these clips before the Democrats cop to the truth?

Biden is reading his remarks, obviously prepared by someone else. There is some kind of glitch on the teleprompter screen.

Biden, unaware of what he is saying, stumbles over the words, repeatedly saying “this job.”

At the end, you see him try to recover, only to stumble even more.

Does this man even know where he is or what he is doing?

It’s typical for a politician to use a teleprompter to organize his thoughts. But normally, if there is a technical problem, they can fall back on what they remember from the speech.

That’s because they either wrote it or reviewed it with staff.

But it’s clear that Biden doesn’t read these things ahead of time or simply forgets.

Maybe he’s like some kind of windup toy that they let out right before an event. He doesn’t know what he’s saying—because he’s just sleeping while not on camera!

Regardless of what you believe about who is really running the White House, you cannot deny something is wrong with Joe Biden.

He may not have dementia, but he constantly struggles to speak, think, and respond to questions.

For the Democratic Party to ignore this and pretend like everything’s fine is very, very wrong, and it could put America in jeopardy.

Key Takeaways:
Joe Biden struggled once again to speak, reading words from the teleprompter again and again.
This is one of countless examples of the man showing signs of mental decline.
Biden frequently relies on scripts and struggles when they are not available.

What Causes Humidity?

The sweltering heat is one thing. When Mother Nature tacks on that dense layer of moisture that saturates the air, the day becomes truly uncomfortable. Save for some desert environments around the world, most locations suffer from humidity to some extent.

Rain forests and tropical climates are more prone to higher levels of humidity, which indicates that high amounts of water have a direct influence on the percentage of humidity. However, humidity is often simplified as the retention of moisture within the air, and while that’s not wrong, there is a bit of science behind the explanation of this unpleasant phenomenon.

Sheriffs Make Biden Public Enemy #1 – Prepare To Bring Him Down

By now, we all know about the disaster that is the Biden administration’s border policy. Joe Biden and his far-left advisors have been pushing an agenda that puts illegal aliens first and Americans last.

You probably know that he removed Donald Trump’s rules that kept the border safe. But his deliberate attempts to weaken the border went much further than that. From all appearances, Joe wants this country overrun with migrants.

In addition to allowing hundreds of thousands of aliens rush the border, he has made it nearly impossible for ICE to properly do its job. Not only has Biden crippled Border Patrol, but ICE can no longer deport aliens—even those that have been convicted of crimes.

Many are wondering just why Joe is ignoring the safety and well-being of Americans. So, a team of Texas sheriffs—and ICE officers—is fighting back.

Sheriffs from the border counties of Kinney, Edwards, McMullen, and Hudspeth in Texas along with an association of ICE officers accused the Biden administration of violating federal immigration law with its restrictions on ICE operations…

The lawsuit states that the Biden administration’s action has blocked ICE agents from taking into custody illegal immigrants accused of crimes such as human trafficking and drug smuggling.

“Since the issuance of the February 18 Memorandum, ICE officers have been unable to take custody of, or issue detainer requests for, dangerous criminal aliens whose detention is mandated by the [Immigration and Nationality Act]. Specifically, detention is required for aliens who have committed or been convicted of numerous crimes other than aggravated felonies, such as: crimes of moral turpitude, crimes involving controlled substances, human trafficking, money laundering, and certain firearm offenses,” the lawsuit states. [Source: Daily Wire]

According to the lawsuit, Biden is preventing ICE from apprehending and deporting aliens who have been convicted of violence crimes as well as drug smuggling and human trafficking. You might be wondering why Biden would prevent these obviously hardened criminals from facing punishment.

Maybe you thought Joe was just trying to protect illegals immigrant families, who just came here for a better life.

Well, they are breaking the law too, but ICE has always prioritized dangerous criminals. Yet Joe Biden is hindering their work with his February 18th memo.

Clearly, Biden doesn’t want any immigrants deported. The reasoning is complicated, but certainly ridiculous.

Trump was a strong advocate for protecting our borders. Under him, ICE deported many violent criminals and prevented thousands of migrants from marching into the U.S. As we’ve seen for months, Biden just does the opposite of Trump, to appease the liberal media.

But worse than that, Biden is doing the bidding of the far-left, who want the country flooded with illegals.

The worse our economy, crime rates, and communities get, the easier it is for socialists to take over. It’s the safe reason Democrat cities let the homeless building shanty towns right in the middle of their commercial districts. The worse they can make America, the more they can profit.

Biden is simply a puppet for the progressive left. He is letting migrants trample our border and national security, all so Democrats can gain more power.

Hopefully, this lawsuit will freeze his plans in their tracks.

Judge Forces Democrats To Do The Unthinkable

I believe it is safe to say that Democrats’ “Defund the Police” movement has been a huge failure both from the rejection of candidates and politicians for office in swing areas who called for it and the implementation of the policy itself in places where it has been embraced, where we have also seen violent crime on the increase by double and in certain places triple digits.

The worst-hit Liberal-run city has been in Minneapolis, considering that is where the slogan “Defund the Police” started after the death of George Floyd. Their city council almost promptly moved to start the process of removing funding, and bragged about this during their interviews where they spoke about “reimagining” community policing in the form of social workers and trusted figures to solve disputes.

Because of this, there were lots of resignations from officers who felt like they did not have support. Not surprisingly, officer recruiting has not been so easy in the city. Violent criminals took this as an opportunity and started doing their thing.

Residents also narrowly avoided having significant staffing cuts done to its police, but $8 million was still removed from the police through attrition, leaving precincts weakened.

But in a new ruling, that no doubt leaves Democrats fuming, a Minneapolis judge has ordered the leaders of the city to hire more police, saying the city was not making good on its obligations to its citizens:

According to a document filed, Mayor Jacob Frey and the council are ordered to “immediately perform any and all actions to guarantee they fund the police.”

This means they must have 730 sworn officers by June of 2022. The city of Minneapolis currently only has 669 sworn officers.

Here’s more from Matt Finn of Fox News:

What is that you hear? It’s the sound of Democrats’ attempts to “Defund the Police” going down the drain in Minneapolis. It’s a wonderful sound, especially for people who have to live there.

This comes at a time when Democrats are attempting to distance themselves from their Defunding agenda. Seeing that it only harms them in polls.

Gavin Newsom is the liberal governor of California that seeks to rip off every hurting person before he is voted out of office. Instead of realizing that the pandemic is over and encouraging people to get back to work, the nasty liberal keeps signing bills that keep people dependent on the government for help. Except in his state, no one is getting the help they need to pay their rent.

6 Knots Every Person Should Know

Knots may not come across as an appealing skill to many. Often learned as a part of scout groups, the skills lie dusty in the memory until, of course, you are an avid camper.

But tying a knot is a universal skill that finds its applicability in all walks of life. The wise recognize them, whereas the ignorant chooses one fit for all. Learning how to tie knots will help you know where to use which kind of knot to make your life simpler.

A knot is supposed to be strong and hold its position, but also, depending on the situation, it should be able to be untied easily. Hence, learning multiple knots and their uses makes you choose one that fits best with the situation at hand.

Democrats Hate the Nation They Want to Rule
Why does the party want to lead if its leaders can’t stand the people they’re leading?

“Loving the people you lead, caring deeply about them, is the basic prerequisite of leadership. The leaders of today’s Democratic Party do not. They despise this country. They have said so. They continue to. That is shocking, but it is also disqualifying. We cannot let them run this nation because they hate it. Imagine what they would do to it.” —Fox News host Tucker Carlson, July 6, 2020

Carlson is right. Democrat Party politicos have made it clear they believe our nation is a systemically racist, xenophobic construct so irreparably flawed that only “fundamental transformation” can save it. That the endgame of such transformation would be the acquisition of unassailable power by Democrats is sold as “coincidental” by those same leftists and their corporate mouthpiece, the mainstream media.

Dad Prepares Custom First Aid Kit That Consists Entirely Of Cards That Say 'Walk It Off'

HOT SPRINGS, AR—Local dad Kevin Baker was preparing a fun day of hiking with his family when his wife reminded him to put together the first aid kit. Kevin quickly put together the best first aid kit for all situations, one that simply had cards in it that said 'walk it off.'

It wasn't long into the hike that Kevin's first aid kit needed to be utilized as his youngest son Trevor quickly cut his leg on a sharp stick.

“Ouch kiddo, that looks like a pretty bad cut,” said a not-so-compassionate Kevin to his profusely bleeding son. He then pulled one of the cards out of the first aid kit and told him to ‘walk it off,’ and they proceeded on the hike.

After a couple more miles into the trek, the family's teenage daughter Betty Sue suddenly slipped and tumbled down a hillside, banging over a couple of rocks on the way down. Kevin and his wife Cindy quickly rushed to her side to find her grasping what looked to be a broken arm.

“Oh my, let's see what the ole’ first aid kit has for this situation,” said a relatively calm Kevin. “All right, here ya go honey, just walk it off and it should be better in no time!” Betty Sue took the card and continued crying hysterically due to the intense pain she was experiencing.

Cindy quickly yelled at her husband to do more for their daughter. “Fine,” said an exasperated Kevin. He then proceeded to pull out the emergency ‘rub some dirt on it’ card he had been saving for an actual emergency.

You Might Be Shocked To Learn How Young Many Founding Fathers Were When The Declaration Of Independence Was Signed

When you think young teenagers and early twenty-something men on the Fourth of July, your mind probably wanders to partying and keg stands instead of anything serious.

But it should instead remind you how shockingly young many were in America’s founding generation.

Biden Protested by Trump Supporters During Suburban Chicago Visit

President Joe Biden visited Chicago on Wednesday — well, not really. The closest Biden got to the city of Chicago was O’Hare Airport before moving to Crystal Lake, which is about an hour north of the city. Forget the south and west sides of the city where all the violence that’s currently plaguing Chicago occurs.

Speaking of Crystal Lake, a fair amount of Trump supporters protested outside McHenry County College, conveying their displeasure with the current regime.

Protesters holding “Trump Won” and “Beijing Biden” signs, among others, were seen outside during Biden’s visit.

Here’s video of the scene:

They’re going to investigate us

Nicole Neily, Parents Defending Education <info@defendinged.org>
To:
m86thecat@yahoo.com

Thu, Jul 8 at 3:25 PM

Ron,

It’s like a chapter from a George Orwell novel — and that’s why every American should be concerned.

Just days ago, the National Education Association (NEA), the nation’s largest teacher’s union, passed a resolution at its annual conference to allocate more than $50,000 to “research” groups like Parents Defending Education.

They used the word “research” … but really what the NEA means is “investigate and smear”!

Why, you may be wondering, are we on the NEA’s radar?

Parents Defending Education has unapologetically defended healthy, non-political education for all students, and we oppose Critical Race Theory, an extremist doctrine derived from Marxism that condemns America and divides students by race and pits them against each other as either “oppressors” or “oppressed.”

The NEA has decided they’re “all in” for Critical Race Theory … and that means they’re ready to attack the critics who threaten their agenda the most – grassroots, parent-driven groups like ours.

And more chilling: the NEA removed its “research” — aka “investigation” — resolution, both the vote results and the text, from its website this past Tuesday. You can’t find it anywhere, except for screenshots in media reports.

The NEA and other “woke” activists are busy propagandizing in response to criticism from us and others. They claim Critical Race Theory isn’t being imposed on schools and classrooms, that it’s just a “boogeyman” invented by paranoid parents … but really, the union just passed a resolution supporting the spread of Critical Race Theory to every classroom – and then removed the resolution from their website after it was exposed!

Ron, it’s time to join together and stop the hyper-politicized madness that has taken over our schools!

In recent years, schools, administrators, and teachers’ unions have embraced the agenda of a narrow group of radical activists. They’ve adopted an illiberal, divisive, and damaging mission — without the consent of the students, parents, and communities whose interests they are supposed to serve.

And now that parents are organizing to oppose their extreme agenda and restore a non-political education for their kids, the union will devote thousands of dollars to fighting and smearing them, while attempting to remove traces of their support for this agenda from their website.

If they thought this “cancel culture” tactic would intimidate us, they were wrong. We’re more committed than ever to taking back our schools from anti-American radicals. Their tactics only fuel our desire to fight and win this battle.

Our work together through Parents Defending Education is more important now than ever, and the fight to restore a healthy, non-political education for our kids will always be worth the effort.

Thank you for standing with us.
Nicole Neily

California Begs For More Electricity As Shift To Renewable Power Leaves State In The Dark

The state of California is currently facing the worst drought in 1,200 years and, as a consequence of such extreme weather conditions, water in key reservoirs is dropping to dangerously low levels, which is forcing the shutdown of major hydroelectric power plants and leaving the state in the dark amid one of the hottest summers ever recorded.

The relentless drought and extreme heat, both worsened by climate change, are critically straining California’s already-taxed electric grid, and pushing the water supply at Northern California’s Lake Oroville to deplete rapidly.

Early last month, the water level in Lake Oroville – the state’s second-largest reservoir – was so low that hundreds of houseboats were hauled out because there wasn’t enough water to hold them. Today, however, state officials revealed the water level in the lake is even lower.

In fact, water is at such “alarming levels” that the Edward Hyatt Power Plant is being forced to close for the first time since it opened in 1967, according to California Energy Commission spokesperson Lindsay Buckley.

On top of that, California energy grid officials are urging residents to reduce power consumption, particularly during the evenings when electricity demand is at its peak. If consumers don’t reduce their electricity use during the peak time of the day, the state’s grid might experience widespread power outages and suffer from damaged power lines.

In essence, this situation highlights this is going to be a long, hot summer of higher electricity bills, periodic rationing, and blackouts for millions of households and businesses. Needless to say, those increased energy costs will also add to the inflationary pressures plaguing the U.S. economy.

To make matters even worse, Lake Oroville isn’t the only one with dwindling water levels. A similar situation is occurring at the Hoover Dam – which forms Lake Mead, the largest reservoir in the entire country, and produces enough electricity for approximately 8 million Americans.

Now, the worsening drought is resulting in record-low water levels, and seriously compromising the efficiency of hydropower generation at Hoover Dam, as water is used to spin turbines to produce electricity.

According to the latest data released, energy capacity at the dam already fell by roughly 25 percent. In short, Californians are not only facing the devastating effects of extreme heat but also the combination of a critical water crisis and a disastrous energy crisis that is adding chaos to what should be a joyful summer.

In addition to calling out for power-saving measures, state officials have been asking California residents to also reduce their water consumption as much as possible during the hot summer months. They are even requesting consumers to take shorter showers, fix leaks at home, plant drought-tolerant trees, and reduce watering home landscapes.

But some officials have taken more “draconian” approaches and declared a water shortage emergency also issuing mandatory water restrictions that are punishable by fines in case consumers do not comply.

With meteorologists anticipating even hotter temperatures in the coming months, the state’s increasing reliance on gas-fired plants is going against its goal of transitioning to carbon-free electricity.

“Our systems and infrastructure were designed and built in previous decades, to work in our old climate,” Diffenbaugh said. “As the Earth gets warmer, triggering extreme conditions, those systems are getting stretched – unfortunately beyond their capacity.”

At this point, the crisis is getting so alarming that state energy officials have asked the California Independent System Operator, which runs most of the grid, to contract for additional power capacity for July and August, otherwise, it won’t be able to meet demand during the evening when solar production decreases, according to a joint statement released last week from the grid, utility, and energy agencies.

In the meantime, the government continues to take a number of steps that already epically failed in the past. And knowing the state’s measures aren’t enough to avoid catastrophic outages just as seen in 2020, the state’s grid operator is begging for more electricity.

Notably, even Bloomberg, which doesn’t hesitate when it comes to criticizing non-green sources of power, is admitting that California’s problem is the state’s aggressive push to cut its carbon emissions by recklessly shifting to renewable energy without properly planning or coming up with a plan B considering seasonal weather changes.

In other words, while Californians are learning the hard way that the state’s grid has become extremely vulnerable to critical disruptions, politicians simply cannot deny that California’s “green” push has been a complete disaster because now, millions of people will be left in the dark during hot summer days, while countless other tragedies and casualties continue to emerge on the horizon.

Montello residents want answers on water rights, pipeline

July 8, 2021
ELKO – Water issues are making a splash in Montello, and Elko County Commissioners hope to have a clearer picture of water rights and consider solutions at their Aug. 18 meeting in Montello.

Commissioners on July 7 instructed county staff to research the concerns in the meantime, after hearing from residents who want to protect their water rights and the use of an older water line.

“Our team will be getting on it,” said Chairman Jon Karr.

Staff will be looking at the potential for forming a general improvement district that one resident brought up at the meeting, as well as looking at Montello water rights, a Nevada Division of Water Resources permit that expires later this year, and why a property owner is reportedly locking water collection boxes inhibiting county maintenance.

Commissioner Delmo Andreozzi likened the water issues to “peeling back the layers of an onion to understand what’s happening.”

The research will include looking into water rights the Union Pacific Railroad years ago reportedly gave to Montello for community use.

Commissioner Cliff Eklund said he understood that Union Pacific said if the water rights were not used by the town, they would revert to UP. However, he had heard the railroad was no longer interested in the water rights and may have sold them.

Originally, Montello received water from the south line that was installed in the 1920s and was the community’s source until about 30 years ago when Elko County installed the north water line, according to the county’s natural resource director, Curtis Moore.

He said the eight-mile south line is old and breaks, and the Nevada Division of Water Resources says the water from that line is not safe to drink. He also said the county planner, Corey Rice, has said it is costing more to maintain the south line than it is worth.

The agenda for the July 7 meeting stated that staff is recommending the county no longer maintain the south line and not extend the permits from the Nevada Division of Resources, as well as consider shutting down the line or selling the pipeline to interested parties.

The county’s three-year permit extension from the state for the south line expires in the fall. Moore said the county sought a five-year extension, but water resources would only extend for three years for the county to show beneficial use.

Commissioner Rex Steninger questioned why people using the water would not be considered a beneficial use.

Commissioner Wilde Brough, who visited Montello last month to talk about the water issues, said the proposal to sell the south line was “merely an idea. Frankly, it sounded like a good idea.” He said there are 13 people on the line that could cost millions of dollars to fix, and that made no economic sense.

“There is nothing to get mad about. We need people to come forward to tell us what you want us to do,” Brough said.

Moore also said Montello’s water issues have become more “interesting the past couple of years” because nearby ranchland was sold, and the new owner is “hostile” to Elko County’s water rights.

Although the south line no longer supplies drinking water to Montello, people on the line use the water for livestock, irrigation and even drinking water, according to resident Ty Corbin, who accused the county of malfeasance and asked for a full audit of money spent on water lines.

“The water is being used and has been for years and years,” he said.

“We want to take back our water,” said Kimberly Greening, who presented commissioners with a petition signed by roughly 80 area residents asking them to table any action until they could find a better resolution to the issues.

“As the residents of Montello and the rightful owners of the water rights, we say NO to the selling of our water and NO to the water gouging and we say NO to shutting down the watering station in Montello,” the petition states.

Commissioners decided after hearing from several Montello area residents to table any action until the Aug. 18 meeting.

Area resident Kent Evans said a group of seven residents consulted an attorney who recommended forming a general improvement district for the Montello area that could be eligible for grant money and be a potential solution to the water dilemma.

“We are prepared to spend money to create the GID,” he said, asking the county for documentation to help with the proposal.

He also said there are concerns that the water station in Montello that sells water to people outside the town limits could be shut down. Brough said he understood the station does not follow state place-of-use guidelines because the water goes out of town.

The fill station in Montello is for area residents not on the town’s water service to obtain drinking water, said Jim Kerr of the county’s public works department. The users have contracts for the water.

Kerr also told commissioners that 10 years ago the estimate for replacing the south line and updating the collection boxes and bringing the water up to drinking standards was $2.5 million, so the cost would be much higher now. The county would need grant money, he said.

Currently, the town of Montello pays for the upkeep on the south line, even though all the town’s drinking water comes from the north line, Moore said.

Chief Civil Deputy District Attorney Rand Greenburg said there is no lawsuit against the county regarding the water rights at Montello, but the county may need to take legal action to access spring boxes on the south line.

Commissioners will be meeting in Montello and West Wendover for their Aug. 18 meeting, with times to be determined later.

Broken dam in northeast Nevada flooding homes, farms and railroads
By McKenzie Romero@McKenzieRomero  Feb 8, 2017, 7:55pm MST

MONTELLO, Nevada — A broken dam in Elko County, Nevada, flooded farmland and homes in the community of Montello, stopped Union Pacific trains nearby and prompted a warning to people in extreme northwest Utah to avoid the rural highway into the Silver State.

And while Utah has recently experienced a quick warmup after heavy snows, state water officials think a similar breach is unlikely in the Beehive State.

The National Weather Service reported Wednesday the failure of the 21 Mile Dam was sending water spilling out in a "dangerous and life-threatening situation."

"Water in the reservoir continues to rapidly empty and is heading downstream. Ongoing flash flooding will continue and could potentially get worse," the National Weather Service advised. A flash flood warning for Elko County has been issued through midnight Thursday.

As the water flows into the Dake Reservoir, there is a risk the dam there could overflow leading to more flooding, according to the warning.

Union Pacific rail traffic in the area has also come to a halt, Justin Jacobs, a Union Pacific spokesman for the area, confirmed.

Trains headed toward the flood-affected area have been stopped and face indeterminate delays, Jacobs said, while Union Pacific is assessing options to re-route trains that are further out.

It was unclear whether freight or commuter trains, or both, were being impacted, Jacobs said. And until the water stops flowing, Union Pacific will be unable to inspect the tracks and see just how much damage has been done.

Fast-flowing water through the streets of Montello, an unincorporated community in Elko County in northeast Nevada, had emergency crews responding to set up sand bags around homes and businesses. Footage captured by KSL-TV's Chopper 5 shows wide breaks in the earthen dam, water rushing along rail routes and trains stopped on the tracks.

Kevin Hall, a captain with the East Elko Fire Protection District, said the flooding and the breach are due to heavy runoff and snowmelt. Earlier in the day responders were dealing with just a few inches of water, but since the dam failed it has risen to a few feet in depth, he said.

"We've got about 3-foot trenches down in the front of the businesses now that it's washing out along the pavement," Hall said. "We've got a fuel station, a gas station here, and we're trying to protect the pumps from fuel contamination into the water, which causes big problems."

Hall said areas of Nevada's state Route 233 are also at risk of washing out and warned drivers out of Box Elder County to stay away.

"Do not travel it, it's getting dangerous," Hall warned.

As January storms dumped twice the normal snowpack in Utah's mountains, dam safety engineer Everett Taylor with the Division of Water Rights says the state's reservoirs are about half full at last measurement and are prepared to take on plenty of runoff.

Representatives from the division meet monthly with the Natural Resources Conservation Service regarding the state's snowpack as well as the National Weather Service to assess projected weather patterns, Taylor said. The collaborative effort is designed to pinpoint concerns with reservoirs before they arise.

"If we're anticipating a large runoff, then we can begin to draw water down from the reservoirs so we have additional storage capacity for the water," Taylor said. "At this point in time, that's not the case. We have suffered some pretty good drought the past few years with minimal snowpack, so we have good storage available to capture this runoff."

Taylor also noted that the warm up Utahns have felt in the valleys hasn't yet impacted higher altitudes.

Regular dam inspections are also ongoing, Taylor said.

"We generally identify maintenance issues, and in those cases we let the owners know what maintenance needs to be done and we'll follow up with them on our next inspection," Taylor said. "If we see a significant issue, something that raises significant concern that we see poses a risk, we will address it immediately."

There are no concerns about any Utah dams failing, Taylor said.

In Wasatch County, the Heber City Police Department warned residents in a Facebook post Wednesday to prepare for runoff as the weather warms.

"If your home is by a canal, creek, in a flood plain, or if you have experienced flooding before – you may want to consider the purchase of sand and sandbags," police said.

The department also advised residents to consider looking into flood insurance.

ECONOMIC COLLAPSE NEWS
The Temporary Collapse Of Texas Is Foreshadowing The Total Collapse Of The United States
5 months ago

The power collapse happening in Texas right now is merely a short preview of the total collapse of the United States. America’s infrastructure is getting obsolete and starting to crumble. Our power grid wasn’t designed to support so many people, our water systems are a complete failure, and this event has made it clear that we would be entirely lost if a major long-term national emergency ever occurred.

Rock Hits No. 1
July 9, 1955

It’s difficult to pin down the birth of rock ‘n roll, but July 9, 1955 is a strong contender. A full year before Elvis would enrapture (or scandalize, depending on your point of view) the nation with his swaying pelvis, Bill Haley and His Comets reached a milestone that surpassed all others: Their mega-hit “Rock Around the Clock” reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Pop charts. The song became the first true rock anthem, and reached millions throughout the world, solidifying rock n’ roll into the cultural mainstream.

Originally released in May 1954 as a b-side, the track, which cranked R&B up to a quick-paced tempo (and added a blistering guitar solo for good measure), actually received a lackluster reception at first. But in March 1955, the song featured prominently in the opening credits for the film “Blackboard Jungle.” Soon, “Rock Around the Clock” became an anthem for a young, rebellious generation.

So rebellious, in fact, that some states banned the film, saying it adversely affected “the peace, health, morals, and good order of the city.” But it was too late — rock n’ roll was here to stay. Only two months after the film’s release, “Rock Around the Clock” sold more than one million copies.

ARE YOU IMMUNE TO COVID-19 AFTER YOU’VE HAD IT?

There’s still so much we don’t know about COVID-19. We don’t even know for sure who “patient zero” was.

Needless to say, scientists worldwide are scrambling to figure out important, life-saving information. And one of the most pressing questions they’ve been working round the clock to answer is: Are people who contract the virus immune to it afterward? And if so, for how long?

Teachers Demand Cameras In Homes To Monitor What Parents Are Teaching Children

U.S.—Controversy continues to unfold surrounding what teachers should and should not be teaching children. Teachers have responded by demanding cameras be placed in homes so they can monitor what parents are teaching their students.
“Why shouldn’t we be able to see what they are teaching our students? Do they have something to hide?” said Katherine Lunsford, a public school teacher, and activist. “For all we know, they could be teaching our students that America is a great country, or worse, that not seeing race is okay.”

“We need dedicated cameras in every room to watch students at all times to ensure they are being educated with state-approved worldviews,” Katherine continued. “We can’t just sit back and let these parents undo all of our hard work.”

Advocates of cameras in every home argue that a concerning number of parents are not adequately continuing the children’s education at home. They claim that kids return from summer break knowing nothing about climate justice, minority queer theory, or the racist roots of math.

“I just want my kids to learn the normal subjects and to treat everyone with respect regardless of race,” said local parent Paul Collins, an extremist bigot who pulled his kids out of public school to indoctrinate them. “CRT in public schools told my kids they were horrible, white oppressors! And now they are telling me that I can’t homeschool my kids unless they record everything that goes on in our home!”

At publishing time, parents who refused to accept cameras in their homes were labeled enemies of the state and their children were placed in the care of Child Protective Services.

“I have directed our health department to let the federal government know that sending government employees or agents door-to-door to compel vaccination would NOT be an effective OR a welcome strategy in Missouri!”

Governor Stands Up to Biden's Door-to-Door Vaccine Scheme, Issues Directive to State Health Dept.

Missouri Gov. Mike Parson is not laughing at President Joe Biden’s knock-knock remark.

Biden on Tuesday explained that the federal government is changing its approach to vaccinating Americans against COVID-19.

“We are continuing to wind down the mass vaccination sites that did so much in the spring to rapidly vaccinate those eager to get their first shot — and their second shot, for that matter, if they needed a second,” he said at a news conference, according to a White House transcript.

This is the most disturbing thing we have seen in quite some time.

Teacher Corrupts Innocence: 1st Graders Taught About Masturbation, Others Torture Pornography

A sex ed instructor is out at a New York City prep school after teaching first graders about masturbation.

The New York Times reported that the “sex-positive” teacher, Justine Ang Fonte, resigned in June following outrage from parents. Apparently, some wealthy New Yorkers are still sane enough to oppose such material in first-grade classrooms.

Fonte is said to have shown children a cartoon that advised, “It’s OK to touch yourself and see how different body parts feel, but it’s best to only do it in private.”

This is disgusting but, sadly, hardly surprising.

Let's not forget no vaccine no business meetings or potentially no employment... I believe America is being both extorted and blackmailed into getting a FDA unapproved (not) vaccine with unknown side effects.

NO VACCINE = NO GUNS FOR YOU!
Over the pandemic I spent a LOT of time talking about how concerned I was that our liberties were being chipped away, and…

…there’s a new threat that we need to talk about:

Will “Vaccine Passports” Be Used To Threaten Your Gun Rights?

I saw an article the other day that was about a shooting range offering a free day of range time in exchange for getting vaccinated for COVID-19.

Nothing wrong with that, I guess, if you’re already inclined to get “the jab,” right?

But… what if you don’t want the shot?

Does the shooting range intend to let only vaccinated people use it?

“But Jeff,” you might be thinking. “They haven’t said they’re going to block unvaccinated people, have they?”

Well, no… not yet.

Biden Health Secretary: "Absolutely The Government's Business" To Know Who Gets Vaccinated

Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Xavier Becerra argued that the federal government is entitled to know who has been vaccinated against COVID-19, responding to concerns over a recently announced White House plan to send teams door-to-door.

“Perhaps we should point out that the federal government has had to spend trillions of dollars to try to keep Americans alive during this pandemic, so it is absolutely the government’s business. It is taxpayers’ business if we have to continue to spend money to try to keep people from contracting COVID and helping reopen the economy,” Becerra told CNN on Thursday.

Army veteran badly burned in Afghanistan IED blast slams Twitter for flagging July 4 post of him saluting in uniform as 'potentially sensitive content'

A veteran badly burned in an Afghanistan IED blast has slammed Twitter claiming it flagged his July 4 post of him saluting in uniform as 'potentially sensitive content'.

Retired US Army Captain Sam Brown posted a photo on Independence Day of himself saluting and the phrase 'Freedom isn't free' - with his facial injuries from the blast visible in the image.

'On July 4, 1776, America was born,' he wrote. 'On July 4, 2021, we're still the best country on this planet.'

While the tweet itself was not restricted, the photo was slapped with a warning reading: 'The following media includes potentially sensitive content.'

A Twitter spokesperson told DailyMail.com the tweet 'was marked as sensitive because of the media settings of the user, not because of any action on the part of Twitter.'

Federal Government Does Not Have Database of Who Has Received COVID-19 Vaccine: White House

Federal Government Does Not Have Database of Who Has Received COVID-19 Vaccine: White House
The White House’s effort that involves people going door-to-door to try to boost COVID-19 vaccination rates does not rely on a database, the Biden administration’s press secretary said Thursday.

“The federal government does not have a database of who has been vaccinated. That is not our role,” press secretary Jen Psaki told reporters in Washington. “We don’t maintain a database along those lines. And we have no plans to.”

White House officials, as well as President Joe Biden, said Tuesday that a key focus in the coming weeks was knocking on doors to deliver information about COVID-19 vaccines to Americans.

“We need to go to community by community, neighborhood by neighborhood, and oftentimes, door to door—literally knocking on doors—to get help to the remaining people,” or those who have not received a vaccine, Biden said in remarks from the White House.

The plan triggered staunch pushback from Republicans, with Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich warning the administration against using medical records to ascertain which Americans have not gotten a jab.

Arizona Rebuffs Biden’s ‘Door-To-Door’ Vaccination Strategy, Blasts Admin For ‘Severe Breach Of Privacy’

Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich expressed “great alarm” at President Joe Biden’s plan to send teams door-to-door to promote the COVID-19 vaccine to hesitant Americans on Tuesday, saying that the president’s strategy may be a violation of privacy.

Brnovich sent a letter to the White House Tuesday after press secretary Jen Psaki said that part of Biden’s plan to vaccinate Americans involved sending officials in “targeted” outreach “door-to-door” encouraging people to get a COVID-19 shot. Brnovich slammed Biden for Psaki’s suggesting that the White House may have obtained the medical records of unvaccinated Americans.

“I, along with many Arizonans, was greatly alarmed by your White House indicating it might be in possession of medical records revealing the contact information of Americans who have not been vaccinated. If this is the case, this is a severe breach of privacy, and I will not tolerate such intrusions within Arizona,” Brnovich wrote.

Tello... if you are truly wondering about the issue of immunity...

... If you've had the original strain of the virus, or the Alpha variant, the evidence suggests that you are not immune to the Delta variant.

Both the Pfizer and the AstraZeneca vaccine give a good level of protection even against the Delta variant. As far as I'm aware, the Moderna is as effective as the Pfizer against this variant.

They're not a perfect protection, but they certainly give a much greater level of protection than relying upon antibodies of a previous infection. (That is, where the previous infection was not the Delta variant.)

Future vaccines will be tweaked to improve protection against the current and emerging variants of concern. That will no doubt be ongoing.
