robbie...no bad stuff from dancing in the rain...but have had visitors non stop the last few days.

Going out tomorrow too....but will get back to normal by Monday when I go back to work.

Had a week off...but with a funeral slap bang in the middle of the week...it kinda defeated my chances of really having some time off.

That's the way it goes sometimes....just have to roll with the punches....*sigh

I did notice your post the other day about being at a funeral but didn't say anything
We had a friend die in November -funerals are always sad - :tissue:
& yeah - sometimes we just have to roll along
but good company can smooth the path

Thanks Robbie...

The funeral was for my young cousin...36yo...strapping young man...the whole world at his feet.

Heart attack...at least it was quick and there was no suffering.

He was tall, painfully slim...and handsome.

When I thought about it...he had fit more into his short life than so many others would even dream of in their whole lives...so I guess he had finished what he needed to do here.

It was sad...heartbreaking....but that's just the way it is sometimes.

You expect the generation ahead of you to leave first...but never even think about someone so young going before their time.

But it does make you look at life differently.

Sorry for the death of your cousin.

I work in health and (sounds ironic) but I have gone to a lot of funerals ... the younger the person the sadder & more painful it is.
It doesn't fit with our sense of order when we can't see it being the right time for the younger ones.
Our friend was older - got see her kids grow up - couple of grandkids on the scene strong christian faith, well prepared for the big trip over to 'the other side'. So it had a certain acceptable level of 'fit' with the order of life.
But, we are mere mortals and thus, fragile. A Chinese friend of mine told me of a Chinese saying a long time ago,
"The distance between life and death is as thin as a piece of rice paper'
and I now believe it.
Got to hug the kids everyday

You said a while ago that the place was going nuts over there. Seems to be a lot of worrying things happening over there that we don't hear much about. I hope your Second Amendment stays strong - as it appears the First is under threat.
