2011 Midwinter Ball - Results

Ms Gillard was trailing Mr Abbott until well inside the last minute, when two bidders with deep pockets made their moves.  Still, it is the bids at the end that matter and sniping is still valid.


The winners here are, most certainly, the charities - and for that, all the participants should be thanked.

Considering the amounts reached in those listings, it's clear the bids are not made by the everyday Australian.

I am glad that a good amount of money was raised for a very worthy cause.
