ebay suspend gr8's seller account over AUD $ 9.20!
- thats right no "0"'s missing folks lol

having raped and pillaged gr8 (and everyone else) for the past year with pathetic site traffic and less and less unique visitors - all for outrageous fees, with a useless search engine - ebay today suspended the account of this world famous polygamist for the non-payment of the princely sum of $9.20.

Interesting isn't it that the whole ebay site can be down for 8 hours a few weeks back and not a whisper from ebay, no compensation, no email, no I am sorry (when most other sites were up) and yet if you owe them less than $10.00 they are on your case

its not as if anyone will notice its that dead in there, its oztion traffic with mayfair fees .... GO FLOCK yerselves FeeBay - you've been flocking us for years!

bunch of idiot greedy ratbags!

GR*8!

Yes it's even more intersting when you consider that one of the biggest frauds on ebay in 2008 - EBS, were allowed to run up an ebay bill of over $200,000 and they still didn't shut them down until media and public outraged forced them to.....but they suspend other accounts for 9.20?.....

“New Online Business Index lifts the lid on Australian ecommerce”

“The survey was sent to eBay.com.au’s top 3,000 sellers by sales volume and was conducted by market researchers Stokes Mischewski between 7 December 2009 and 11 January 2010 using seller information provided by eBay.”

What more needs to be said about the representativeness of the results of this “survey” …
“Today we’re dealing with phase two or phase three [he can’t even remember which one] of disruptive innovation. We’ve had the disruption, now we must disrupt our own disruption.”—John Donahoe (2007).

“Between PayPal, Credit, and Debit, Credit Cards Are the Safest Way to Pay Online”
http://lifehacker.com/5500194/between-paypal-credit-and-debit-credit-cards-are-the-safest-way-to-pay-online

“‘The strongest protections are when you pay by credit card,’ says Carole Reynolds, a senior lawyer at the Federal Trade Commission. Under the (US) Truth in Lending Act, consumers’ maximum liability for unauthorized use of their credit card is only $50, and when a card is used online, it’s zero.”

Well, what more can be said (or not said) about PayPal?

"... harder to get your money back [from PayPal] than if you use a credit card."

That, of course, is the understatement of the decade ...

And it’s not a question of the security or the convenience of the PayPal system (I agree that from the buyers’ perspective PayPal is very convenient), the real problems are PayPal’s totally inadequate and ‘clunky’ risk management processes (PayPal can never ‘know’ the entities to the transaction the way the banks can) and their totally unsatisfactory mediation process if something does goes wrong, as it can do, particularly with purchases made on their slowly sinking mother ship, eBay.

Surely, this is a bit early for April Fools’ Day …

Any possibility they will report their own criminal activities?
