As with the quality of knives that I use so it is with scissors.
I was given a pair of hairdresser's scissors a very very very longtime ago by a retired hairdresser friend.
She had used them for over 15 years daily, before she gave them to me she had them sharpened, they are still sharp and they are used for cutting EVERYTHING that needs cutting.
To this day they are still as sharp as ever.
They are a 200mm Dovo Diamond Steel pair
If you have a need for the best scissors check these out

That brings back memories of waiting the international clearance area, going through the security check and a poor woman was almost in tears. She was flying out somewhere to a hairdressers competition, and wouldn't trust her scissors to the main baggage in case they got lost, so had tried to get them through in hand luggage.
Security were adamant - NO sharp item! She was going "but these are worth about $600! Can I put them into my luggage then?"
Sorry NO - luggage has been checked in
By the time we got through, it seemed as if one of the female officers was being a little more symapthetic and was prepared to take her name and address and a mail them for her, if she paid for it - the males were all just "'Huh, don't care"
Just shows, Men do NOT understand these things! :-P
