0 Lottery Tickets.
I gamble with my life, not on numbers.

And some other assorted sundries.

I made a print out of financial data to get my Food Stamps reinstated.
Mail that on Monday.

Now, I read a lot about Lockdown and depression.

An inside slider will pass by to our northeast today, bringing limited moisture and only a slight chance for a few snow showers. Wind will probably be the main weather story as southwest winds crank up 20-30mph with gusts over 40's possible by afternoon.

Continued cool over the weekend with highs in the lower to mid-40's, while overnight lows remain in the teens and 20's. Temperatures will remain fairly close to average next week with dry weather ahead. When traveling into the mountains during the winter months, always be prepared for rapidly changing weather conditions.

Be sure to bring some extra food, water, and warm clothing in the event you become stranded, and carry tire chains!

HIGH WIND WARNING
The National Weather Service has issued a High Wind Warning for the San Bernardino County Mountains today (Saturday) from 10am to 10pm.
West winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts to 70 mph expected. Strongest winds near the desert slopes of the mountains and on the desert side of the San Gorgonio Pass.
Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines. Power outages are possible. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Areas of blowing dust could lead to sudden and severe restrictions in visibility. Strongest winds are expected on Saturday evening. Strong and erratic gusts may create dangerous travel conditions for high profile vehicles along State Route 111 in the Coachella Valley, and parts of the Palms to Pines Highway through the Riverside County Mountains.
People should avoid being outside in forested areas and around trees and branches. If possible, remain in the lower levels of your home during the windstorm, and avoid windows. Use caution if you must drive.

Pine Cone Soup.

Ingredients:

12 pine cones
1 bag of pine needles
1 lump of something unidentifiable from the woods
Salt from the body of a very salty sailor

Method:

Cook it all together with some water, until the pine cones are soft.
