New Multi List Function

As announced earlier this year, sellers can now combine multiple product variants such as size and colour into one listing. The new multi-variant listing format will be available in the Clothing, Shoes & Accessories, Baby and Sports categories, saving sellers both time and money by only completing one listing, with no additional listing fees.

I have to say this is a great money saver ............ and what timing I just started stocking leather belts  6 sizes X 2 colours ... rather then paying for 12 listings I get them all listed for just one 40 cents

I see it more as helping buyers

no longer spending hours trawling for different colour or size options

next thing they need to do is having a shopping cart and eBay will almost a 'real' online shopping site

Ebay has forgotten this listing format is also useful for collectibles supplies, eg, coin holders, album, etc.

Low, I don't think eBay has forgotten, I think they'll try to string out the introduction of variations in other categories as long as they can. It's not often they actually introduce a change that saves sellers money!

I'm pleased they have finally included it on the AU site. When the sale appears in your My eBay Sold section it lists the variation detail under the item description. It's great!

I am loving the new multi-list

not only for the money saving but the time as

I also have to say I quite like the new look of the listings ............ lots of white and vert faint lines

scary to think that eBay has finally dragged itself into the 21st century

The variant tool is also great for getting better results in Best Match because the multiple sales keeps the item up the top!

One question though, do you know whether a pic needs to be uploaded for every variation if the same pic is relevant for each, eg variation in size only?

Remember the ad a few years ago when the girl had ants in her pants?

I reckon she'd want one of those wallets.

One big difference  - in that ad no ants were harmed (seriously!)

I don't think the same rule applies to mailbox deliveries.
