Have a heap of real life stuff to deal with before the end of financial year. Including our tax returns so we can claim that $900 bonus thing

For those who feel the insidious rays of conspiracy attempting to penetrate their defences, don't delay: order your Tin Foil Hat™ now.

I think we have enough outstanding tinfoil elegance here to start our own fashion show. Is everyone ready to strut their tinfoil stuff down the tinwalk?

Slight change of direction here but still tin foil hat related.

What's your best eBay tin foil hat conspiracy?

My top 2:

1. Watchers is a faked number designed to give you confidence to re-list that item just one more time instead of giving up selling an item.
2. Page visits is a faked number. How in fcuks name can I have 5 visits to the item when I only listed it 30 seconds ago?

Ernest, lovely idea! Let's see... some funny eBay conspiracy ideas...

ebay have every member's correct contact information, but likes to mess with the minds of people needing to contact their buyer or seller in relation to after-sales problems - so they generate fake phone numbers!

#4 Hidden bidder bidding history/info is faked to discourage external analysis. Not that I believe any auction site would actually do that, of course. No way. Not a chance etc.
