Not at all fluffy. It was a suggestion made by another poster on the other place who told me that she wasn't good at spelling r3830!

She suggested that r2d2 was an easier name to remember. I suggested the change back to her in a later thread. No doubt..... have certainly been called worse than that in the past!!

Nah..... my last comment doesn't read right. Perhaps an explanation is in order. (it is 1.31am in Sydney ATM)

There are a lot of nice people on the what was the RT thread - (Eb Aus) and in the community spirit area in general. But the crap that takes place over there..... reading about regular posters disappearing on enforced holidays - complaints about the new forum setup - complaints about boredom - complaints about not being able to have fun - criticisms directed at people (as in the one I mentioned who asked about changing my ID) for posting too many threads.....and so on....and so on. Tends to wear you a bit thin!

And then - to come here..... the moderator(s) here are very reasonable people who allow, and encourage people to have fun. They extend an awesome amount of latitude in what is posted.... and even go to the trouble of cleaning up a post if the need arises. You don't read about people being slapped out of existence for exchanging pleasantries...... and the threads don't vanish into oblivion.

The freedom here is in the fact that EB don't control these forums. But, it is also a reality that this particular area of content can be read by non-members. So be it - let the lurkers lurk, and let them also see what fun can be had between people who can have a good time.

Enough said. Time to go and catch up with last nights dream..... and no, that won't be posted here!

Calumny! Tello probably dines out on lobster and crême brulée while watching The Globe Theatre Company perform Measure for Measure each night!

(Perhaps he didn't quite realise that, no matter how many times the company performs Measure for Measure, it will NOT suddenly turn into a masterclass for drummers...)
