Yes yoda... that is the way they make it.
I believe it's poor policy, for everyone... users, the market for the items and eBay due to user confidence in the process.

But they couldn't silence me on the US Group Boards. I post there in a subject specific forum.

So this is 'coin specific' discussion... right?
The guys on CFeBay were NOT impressed with the reports I was giving them during the week before and after format regime change to the boards.

I still maintain I have the first pink slap issued for expressing dissent and I did warn that I would be the one that came back and said 'told you so' in what I'd predicted would follow especially regarding the coin board.   Regime change please. New ID please.

It's a pity that mob rule is seemingly the order of the day on OZoo re 'Moderation'.
Does anyone know if:

1) Moderation Authority has be delegated to some posting members on OZtion dis boards to act as moderators.  The leading statement was made by a very rational member there on a contentious thread a few days ago.  I agree with the view of very unprofessional approach to administration if thats the case.

2) Do OZtion staff have conditions of employment that limit posting on boards without disclosure of that pecuniary interest ?
2b) What is eBay policy in re staff posting in forums without disclosure.

Hi Misha, I'm not overly impressed with Oztion's management...they seem like novices.....Long story, but they're not impressive..... the boards over there are just not worth posting on...I've been a member on oztion since it started, and it just seems like a 'mini me' of Ebay that doesn't quite cut it....

They haven't got a clue about taking advantage of negative market sentiment to advertise and capitalise....Ebay has handed then numerous opportunities to step into the void with their unconscionable conduct, but Oztion is too busy being the void to climb out, act like real entrepreneurs and provide real competition for Ebay......just saying...pretty shabby.

Yib it is. Sorry bout that. I wish the reply field still allowed review of postings.

I'm Misha ..
..read back and you find I'm an old ID... in exile.
I guess you will discover how I can be rather frank and have a somewhat off beat sense of humor, BUT the argument is with the issue... not the person with me... and I don't take abuse very well at all.

I can still post my words on OZoo and eBay if I wanted... I have today.
It's just ridiculous the manner in which I have to do that AND how the forum demigods work, but with my experience in politics, I do understand that a bureaucrat never seeks to create work for themselves or their superior in the pecking order of things.
I think this explains lots of the unfair dismissals from boards.

Hello, Misha,

Please don't be afraid of being offbeat here!

And yes... I'll do my best to find something coin-ish in the way of an emoticon or two.

misha play with the settings...you can configure the board how you like....

do you mean the settings on this word processor, the site page... or the backdoor loophole to enter the category specific boards on eBay?

The 'ridiculous effort' part is having to draft in format a reply for a friend to post.... or a editable 'blackboard' on my photo bucket account.

Yeah.... I've yet to learn 'features and creatures' here.
Please be nice.  Other people have their opinions about me.
Perhaps others will speak of the loss to the coin boards after I've been exiled.
I don't ask for the opinion like that, only care about the myth being corrected and moving on with the coins.  Lets make sure thats not based on fallacy and distortion of events in the past.

Misha...it is truly wonderful to have you here..and I hope you will feel at home in no time.

We laugh and joke here a bit....but it does seem to take the edge of things sometimes....and promotes an atmosphere of camaraderie.

I must admit...I did a doubletake when you first posted...Misha = Bear...lol

But I think your dedication will have a chance to come to the fore here....and there are many here ready to help when needed... :)

I am not to popular on the us boards anymore - all I did was suggest that they should lobby their government to switch to polymer banknotes as it would be easier to lick the cocaine off - they have no sense of humour

While we do have rules here - we also have an Admin team that are principled, can think, understand the real issues and have a sense of humour.

It makes it a great place to post and the camaraderie is brilliant.

Hey Tello - I was just wondering... are you covertly gathering troops for a takeover? ... or do you strictly work alone?

So... from post #103

Any idea's or care to speculate?  In an eBay context too.
