9132977. this is on Oztion. I do suppose people or companies are around that sell in bulk but this seem very suspiscious to me. For starters, this listing says the ave price per piece is $2 - $8 resell price around $30. I don't believe it. Sure a food processor for $2. pull the other one.
2nd. take a look at the banner or sign on the front of the building. yeah sure.
3rd. for the bulk lots, most are the same pics.
Is there really anything in those boxes?
-
*snipe*
Link pls.

Put the item number in the search box and click 'Go'
-
Hmmmm.
What's suss is the fool who buys that junk.
-
Here you go...
http://www.oztion.com.au/vshops/item.aspx?itemid=9132977
I have asked if I can pick up the item from there base. Not that I'm going to buy it of course. ;D
-
That's what worries me Tello and Oztion are getting as bad as ebay allowing it on their site.
-
I suspect eBay has infiltrated Ozoo.
I predict eBay will seize Ozoo with a hostile takeover.
They had a lot of practice by hasseling craigslist......
-
Gotta be a worry...
The 'photo' of the 'premises' is so dodgy it is just incredible.
Some warehouse office somewhere - with a piss-poor effort at sticking a big sign across the top. It's hanging over the window and not even square (not to mention covering the tip of the pencil pine)
Ratings (Feedback) = 0
Sales = 2 to the same buyer and neither for big sums.
They have only been around for 2 months, but even so - only 2 sales?
As for the products.... who knows. The pricing isn't absurd and their range is the sort of thing I'd expect - but it would be good to inspect before jumping in.
They may be legit and just getting started - but without a track record, additional info or actual inspection of the merchandise, it's kinda hard to tell.
-
Look again!
That sign is photoshopped!!!!!
I joke you NOT!
-
... and the sign itself is pefectly square in the picture - pixel to pixel - top and bottom, left and right ... and that just doesn't happen in a real photo.
-
It's suss.
Send in the cops!!!
-
Poor effort, eh, Tello.
Maybe the real sign was getting made up and got delayed......................
-
Maybe crime is running rampant in Oz, and that's another reason why I shouldn't go there.....
-
I wouldn't call this criminal - not from what's been presented here.
Dodgy - maybe.
Suss - definitely.
Selling off a container of cheap imports - most likely.
-
You think it's NOT stolen merchandise?
-
Is this a Pluto Pup thingy?
Something phallic about it all the same...

-
You think it's NOT stolen merchandise?
Not impossible, but unlikely, in my opinion.
Have a look at the other lots they have listed...
Looks like a container load from China to me.

To my untrained eye - YEP!

Tiffany an Aussie brand made in China.
It's all suss to me.
I'll report it to Admin and see what happens

Let the wagering begin!!!!

Another possibility is that it is all seconds - possibly not meant to find its way to Australia.
Who knows.
International product manufacture and distribution have gone feral in some areas. I'm going to sit back and see what unfolds. You could spend a week researching this.

posted elsewhere - copied to over here - thanks for the re-direct - left a chrissy message over there for the re-director of thread traffic :)
Just my opinion - nothin' official here ..........
well - I think that shop front could do with some of our mr tello's et al's creative flair
the cut and paste of the 'bulk lot's' shopfront banner is totally suss and certainly not up to the standard on this forum!
I reckon it looks like the kind of warehouse where Mr Bruce Lee would be sortin' out the bad guys - seriously
Did you check out Bruce Lee with the Nunchaku (thank-you wikipedia (?)) in wyzguys video link (seasons greetings thread) -we could send the likes of our Bruce around to keep 'em honest.
But, - it might be one of those container loads that gets rejected - you know the late delivery ones. There's a lot of stock in the background for sure

Copy that.

:flash:
sure did

:news: what's this mean?
So long, and thanks for all the fish :sing:
-
So Long, and Thanks for All the Fish (1984, ISBN 0-345-39183-7) is the fourth book of the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series written by Douglas Adams. Its title is the message left by the dolphins when they departed Planet Earth just before it was demolished to make way for a hyperspatial express route, as described in The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. The phrase has since been adopted by some science fiction fans as a humorous way to say "goodbye" and a song of the same name was featured in the 2005 film adaptation of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

How many roads must a man walk down?
Are you froody enough to know the answer?
Why are there instructions on how to use a toothpick?
Why does it sound as though a thousand people have suddenly said, "WOP"?
-
How many roads must a man walk down? Dirt or paved?
Are you froody enough to know the answer? Only if yer froody enuff to ask the question.
Why are there instructions on how to use a toothpick? Some people don't have teeth and it may not be appropriate for them.
Why does it sound as though a thousand people have suddenly said, "WOP"? Cuz they're in Italy.
-
It's all in the book that outsold the Galactic Encylopaedia.
-
Don't worry, everything's cool and froody. You mean everything's under control?
No. That would not be cool and froody
;D
-
Now THERE's a poster who really knows where her towel is!

NOW I remember why I got that towel....
but the stupid thing is still in a box!
Somewhere............
Anyone got an infinite improbability drive I could borrow? Or, failing that, a really strong cup of tea?

Brumby, I'd lend you my improbability drive, but some white robots have taken it. They were very rude; didn't even say "please".
I've a plan to get it back, though. I thought of introducing the "You've been rickedrolled" virus into their software.
-
Lacey
"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy states that a towel is the most important item a hitchhiker can have. It also mentions that "to know where one's towel is" means to be in control of one's own life." (thanks again Wiki)
The good countess will explain the improbability drive...

You could have at least straightened up the sign!

Improbability drive:
The drive system on the Starship Heart Of Gold, stolen by Zaphod Beeblebrox.
The Infinite Improbability Drive simultaneously places a starship at every conceivable point in the universe, thereby eliminating all that tedious mucking about in hyperspace. It uses vast amounts of improbability, and many silly things happen in its wake. For example, it caused two deadly missiles launched at the Heart of Gold from the thought-to-be-mythical planet Magrathea to be turned into two very different things: a large sperm whale and a bowl of petunias. In space. Above the planet. You can imagine what that did to the whale and the bunch of petunias. Very messy...

Let's just hope that she doesn't sit back and suddenly realise what the answer to life, the universe and everything is ..............
... or it will be hello hyperspace bypass for all of us!!

Lacey - when you click the bottom of the picture it opens up!
PS - all the 'paint' lessons that you gave me (i.e. where to find it in my computer etc) paid off last night & I did some fine artistic character portraits last night! Thanks maestro!
-
Your welcome Rob. Practice makes perfect. Even that little pic of the brick that comes with paint, you can make a whole brick wall with it. It's just takes time and patience.
So yip, you think the crook behind the walls might be a woman now that I've changed the sign, lol.

Lacey,
I heard that these kitchen guys closed up shop because 'smeeamgios inc' did a bull market take over bid early this morning.
Apparently they are a sparke plug mogels who made their first fortune on the internet forum market and they've branched out into the minibike 'keep ya motor running' foulest plugs on the market bizziness!
Can you believe that?
