I remember in my Youth, the demise of being presented with pre-perscribed choices.
For example: How does a so-called Civilized Society tend to itself in the short term tasks and hope for a decent (complacent) outcome?

In the halls of learning or burning, There's (for me, anyway) paint brushes and color wheels in the Art Dept.
And there's Jack Hammers and Dynomite in Shop Class.

Car shop was exclusive to the Gear Heads. Not my speed.
