Cupie, I can't help it! Tarantino is like runny egg-yolk to me. I keep trying to turn it into sunny-side-up and all that happens is that it's scrambled...
For the same reason, I hated the film "Love Actually".
I love the bizarre, though, when it's a constructed story with an end towards which the story is driven. Have you seen "Pan's Labyrinth"? What a memorable and stunning film. I was unable to turn away; its grotesque and fairytale-like imagery remains with me, as does that powerful end scene...
Oh, but I agree....he was killed by a vampire in dusk to dawn....I told you..it's a classic...lmao.
I don't appreciate his humour but many regard him highly....I'm undecided.....as I said, he died in Dusk to Dawn and that was fine...George Clooney made it out alive...and that was the main thing...hehehe.
Oh and Cheech Marin also made an appearance.....I have to like that guy...I'm a sixties/seventies kid. Soft Spot for that humour...lol....
"hey will you look at the size of that thing? we'll never fit it on the album cover" clearly even back then...size mattered...anyway, I digress...
