Daniel, Michelle and Alan have all miraculously sprung up in this time of need for they that need advice.
Too bad for those that have been pleading for help from the pinks for the last few months...
alas they are mostly appearing on the equally mythical (and soon to disappear) Big News boards.
Must be a ploy so that they can remove evidence of their existence in good time...thus leaving the hordes wandering in ever increasing circles wondering if they had just been a mirage...?
But i tend to be ever so slightly cynical

Not a new strategy at all...they hid an entire forum from the public during the rebellion and hamburglamagic gave us all a 'Door Thread'....that we all guarded...lol....a lot of people were posting there and in the RT. It was a pink slap blood bath....a slap room blitz.....slapkrieg !!!

I await with utter fascination the official vivification and illumination on what eBay moderators consider an "obvious misunderstanding". Unless this is fairly addressed and correctly applied, there is potential here for the destruction of someone's ability to trade on eBay.
Perhaps the eBay moderators will elucidate this matter through this "test case". :enlighten: :please:

the funny thing here is that I posted a bunch of posts that could easily be considered inflammatory (yeah Im a naughty little nekkid boy) but the post I got done for was a totally innocent general comment. I asked the mods (using their official moderator contact address) to show me where the issue was in my post and that was the response....very little rhyme or reason there to my eyes.
Oh well...lets see what I get for my latest comments.

Bozo, you might find that whoever is reporting you is holding back on the more obviously inflammatory posts in order to administer a "double whammy" once your other, more innocent, posts have been reported. I don't know... Perhaps it is sheer coincidence. But I have seen the sort of carefully-thought-out malice online in which I would never have dreamed sensible and otherwise nice adults could possibly indulge.
(Of course some posts made by some individuals do need to be moderated, otherwise it would be rampant blood-dripping chaos - but sometimes what's moderated in some places is what I'd consider either innocuous or permissible. *sigh*)

LOL it looks like they already decided, I fought hard toget my 8 slaps overturned, two of which.. well I deserved but I did enjoy them, the other 6 were NOT violating any forum rule or policy..yet they kept saying they did, I kept saying show me where, they simply kept saying Your post will not be reinstated., funny way to do business really.

G'day Liisa. If your slaps get overturned, can you re-post the posts relating to those slaps that were originally removed? The fact that slaps get overturned tends to prove that the relevant posts were not in violation in the first place.

Funny thing, my opinion is ebay is fed up with the forums, and the fact there are so many shite stirrers who never pay ebay fee's but love to put carp on everything, and screw the joint with fake id's, and self righteous auction bombings of supected crooks, and other mindless acts of massive ego's.
Of course, they love the shill bidding, so that will never go as long as there is breath in those making the dollars from it.
I reckon RT went because of the " Hysterical Rebellious " attitude of some members to everything ebay wants to do with " IT'S " business.
It was probably based on a business model I would subscribe to, and that is, " If you want to try and screw my business, I'll screw you and you can take a running jump ", and with that, the forums were restructured.
I think there will be a lot more happenings from ebay shortly, and I don't think members will like it too much.
I ponder where the connotation of protecting your own supposed business, allows others to think it's OK to try and screw someone else's business, because so far, most of the biggest bleaters have already stated they never use ebay anymore.
Donn Chip resurrected " Keep the bastards honest " The members screwed ebay, ebay runs a poor second to them.
Oh, and remember, it's just my opinion.

I sent the " Former Pink " Shane, an email from work, to show the IP address was not one that was causing problems.
Two days later my place of employment and all the address details and my car rego numbered appeared on a forum said up to take the pi$$ out of me.
Shane pleaded total ignorance, and two days later his disappearance from the board was announced.
Shane, wayne, pain, Bruce, Clive, Richard, Alan, any name they want to be on the day.
I read somewhere once that the entire staff of ebay worldwide, is no bigger than your local Kmart store, and I have no doubt, the journalist was correct.
It was amazing when the fit hit the shan over Scambay, how LiveWorld suddenly took over the forums, and the timing was interesting with the opening of several of those funny off ebay sites.
