To file a NIR dispute on oztion
« on: February 10, 2010, 12:42:07 PM »
I have to ring the seller as Oztion don't think it's enough that 3 4 emails were exchanged.

has anyone here had to ring a seller over a dispute and how did you get on.  were you spoken to OK or abused for your trouble?

I haven't had to do this b4 and the way the seller "spoke" in his emails, i really have no wish to ring him.

Do I really need to do this?

Lacey, I haven't - I haven't yet bought anything on Oztion. But if you just call politely and keep it short, hopefully the seller will not become abusive.

Perhaps if you plan out what you want to say before picking up the phone, it might help?

Thanks for your answers but, I click the button 'have you made phone contact' and that allowed me to submit the dispute.

After 4 emails and getting nowhere, I don't think me ringing would achieve anything.  I actually wrote to another buyer of his and he kindly wrote back and said after 7 emails to this guy he got no answers, so he rang him twice and each time he hung up when he found out who he was.  I've bought off this guy 4 times b4 that I can find and now he wants to go through all this for a paltry $16.  Makes no sense at all to me.

Lacey, email me the sellers ID and I'll take a look at him...if he can be considered a 'trader'.....you can report him to F/Trading....show you I can...help you I will....and you'll of course be including Oztion in your complaint for failure in their duty of care and customer service...why not eh?....the more the merrier....lol...trust me....getting a call from a regulatory authority tends to make them sit up and listen....up to you lassy...lol....wanna bite back?
