If you elect to utilise an external website to promote yourself as a Certified eBay Educator
trained by eBay, you agree that these websites will be for the sole purpose of describing
educational events and information about such events, and you are strictly prohibited from
advertising goods for sale either on eBay or otherwise.
8.3 You may only use the following Student Manuals for the purposes of providing the Course to
the Students:
(a) How to Use eBay.com.au by Todd Alexander;
(b) How to Use PayPal by Todd Alexander;
(c) The Official eBay Bible by Jim Griffith;
(d) eBay for Dummies by Marsha Collier; and
(e) The Perfect Store: Inside eBay by Adam Cohen.
13.3 You will retain all Intellectual Property Rights in any Materials you use to provide the Courses
which you solely own as at the date of this Agreement.
13.4 In respect of the Materials referred to in clause 13.3, upon eBay’s written request you will
grant eBay a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, irrevocable licence to use the Intellectual
Property Rights in those Materials which licence may be freely assigned by eBay within the
eBay Group.
13.5 If you utilise a third party’s Intellectual Property Rights in providing the Materials you must
procure that the third party provides to eBay a licence to use those rights on terms which
enable eBay to use those rights.
Mainly because they use stolen and non-approved material in the current courses, and definitely do NOT have the licence to use the materials or to give ebay a licence for them.
