I've just received a dodgy looking email telling me that I have received an iTunes Gift Certificate



Supposed sender: consultants@itunes.com
Subject line: Thank you for buying iTunes Gift Certificate!
Message:
Hello!

You have received an iTunes Gift Certificate in the amount of $50.00 You can find your certificate code in attachment  below.

Then you need to open iTunes. Once you verify your account, $50.00 will be credited to your account, so you can start buying music, games, video  right away.

They've picked the wrong target in me.

What would I want an iTunes gift card for? I don't iPod or iPhone or iAnything else!  :shakehead:

Makes me annoyed to think of how many people are caught by that type of lure.

I got one of those too.  I didn't click on the link because I knew I hadn't bought anything or used Itunes.  But I could imagine that someone who was buying app or tunes all the time would possibly think it was genuine.
