I'll tell about it later, but..................
I have this certain George Carlinesque social critique bit running around the bathroom of my mind...
How come we say " Thank you my dear gracious Dinner Host. It was delicious! "
And then, several days later, after it's all been adequately dispatched... you set about to visit that Dinner Host and say:
" I just gotta tell ya: That was the best shite I had for a month!
Aww...ya shouldda seen it, man. It was beautiful and I just gotta Thank you! "
Does The Polite Society hold shite in the Balance?
Or has Civiliazation abused the "Truth In Reality" rules?
Either way.....no matter what or where I eat... I will 'give a shite'.
Ya see, I care about other peoples' food I eat & I am greatful for the joys of a new day.
That's just how I am...

I had a great feed on Saturday night. I was a guest at a presentation function & had prawns, veal Scallopini, roast beef, roast chicken & a whole heap of deserts. I ate twice my body weight & it was free (for me).
Rest of the night was just boring presentations & stuff.
I thanked the hosts for the feed afterwards.

Slicker than whale shite on an ice flow in fact........
Bloody plagiarist.....or....is there a cyber parrot in here?.....
now all we need is for yib to molest a picture of Robin Williams floating in the clouds with Tello's head.
Hi Ubb

I had a fantastic Saturday night dinner with a friend who took me out to celebrate. GORGEOUS food. I said thank you, too, so I think by and large we're a polite bunch on this forum!

G'day Cupie & g'day Countess.
Some of my best memories are based on memorable meals I have eaten.

I live in a region where you can't just go out and find fabulous food....even McDonalds is 40kms away, which I'm sure makes many parents very very happy....lol...... so years back I started cooking again, and there's nothing I love more than cooking for friends. We make sure we have something different most nights, and it's usually always cooked from scratch...no instant sauces or frozen vege's YUK !!!
The only thing I miss about Sydney is the food...lol...but nothing else.
