An "eBay" branded tote bag, maybe ??
:wine:
-
my guess would be a discount voucher like 10 or 20% off to use on anything you buy on ebay but then why mail it? might be a picnic set? lol not sure bnwt
thanks for all the informative posts here this year too tbw

it will be a 2010 eBay calender or diary made in china possibly with incorrect dates shown on it , if they are true to form whatever it is they will ask for it back in about 2 weeks as they will say that due to a glitch it was sent to you in error...
-
bnwt.....is your pocket feeling wet?
-
my bet is it will be the dud picnic set which I have heard they sent out on previous occasions
or something dud and made in china that is branded with ebay & / or paypal logos that I'll look at then put in a cupboard to gather dust
-
lol yep bound to have the ebay or preypal branded all over it bnwt, a real treasure ....
must say though they are either getting generous or desperate in their old age, that free insertion fee offer for 4-5 days which just finished was quite good value given you could list in two cats both with free insertion, for once it was a tangible saving, mind you they are not delivering the online audience they once were so thats about what it should be like as standard fare. Also its pretty rich to double the costs for haviing a subtitle and image if a person is taking two cats and willing to pay for them dont you think?

... or maybe you could sell it on eBay!!!

What about contacting PayPal claiming that your surprise yacht has not arrived?
-
I'd be making a claim under Significantly Not As Described.
It was stated BNWT was going to receive a surprise -
... but they didn't receive anything
... which ISN'T a surprise
Both of these criteria qualify for a SNAD claim - which, by all accounts, precedents and experience, should be upheld.
So - when Paypal processes the refund, does that mean they are going to give you some of your life back???
-
my surprise gift has arrived
would you believe it's a 26" Samsung LED television
-
BWNT, you're teasing us, aren't you?
-
.... if you have a bill for $649.99 to cover shipping and handling - I might say yes.

Wow Bnwt. Fair dinkum, really, an LED colour TV , well I'll be hornswaggled.
-
I said ... "would you believe"
and no one did ............. oh what a lot of cynics
well it wasn't really a TV
it was a picnic set ............ actually not that bad apart from the huge eBay logo on it
-
what you got in that pic-a-nic basket
Boo Boo tags ?

Cynics? Do we come across as cynics? Or is it that eBay just brings out the best in us in that regard...?
The picnic set I could believe - especially with a "huge eBay logo on it".
Definitely believe that.
-
I, too, can believe the huge eBay logo. See, not cynical
-
i will wait until bnwt gets the ebay bill first before deciding ... waves to flamigos cent and dark (conscripted) horsie ...
-
My faith is shattered.
It wasn't a television set.
