Mia Culpa good people for my absence but a very urgent real life crisis needed my undivided attention.

Not my crisis but that of a very close and dear friend of very long standing.

The crisis has now abated to a manageable proportion

Let me catch up with what has happened here over the next few days, I'll answer messages tomorrow so please bear with me.

G'day Poddy, good to see you on deck. Yep sammiches are the go at the moment. I'm into meat sammiches. The sammiches Tello has pictured up above are no good, they have greenery & redery which I won't touch.

Ubbs, someone was telling me about a show on TV the other night that demonstrated how they set up burgers for advert photo shoots with the seeds super-glued onto the buns!

Yeah Wheels. I've also heard that the advertising photographers spray food (cooked etc.) with gloss lacquer to make it/them look better.

Ever notice how the McDonalds burgers look better in Adverts & photgraphs than they do in real life?

Pluto Pups look good whether or not they are sprayed.

Ubbs, you gotta love the McDonalds and Hungry Jacks ads where some big burly guys are eating burgers that need one hand on each side of the burger to hold it! I haven't been to either for many years but from memory my kids could easily hold a burger in one hand. Of course with Pluto Pups you only need one hand to hold the stick and the other hand can hold your Pepsi Max. An Ubbs balanced meal!

Real life situations can be a challenge at times, but crisis situations have that way of demanding one's attention.

I am glad to hear the crisis has eased enough for us to have the pleasure of your company once again.

News in brief:
- Tello has had his family reunion, a big success.
- Tessa hasn't been well
- The Election Thread is a hot item ... and running predictably.
... and the rest has been pretty consistent.
