I observe their behavior during the process of getting an estimate. If they don’t show up and reschedule- red flag. If they show up but don’t get the estimate to you , without you calling them, red flag. Buy materials on your own if possible and don’t ever pay before labor is done.

Two choices.....try a dry graphite. This is a plus because it won't drip. If that doesn't work, try a couple of drops of 3 n 1 oil. Make sure it's not your springs. Springs wear out. Try replacing them if lubricants aren't the solution.
