As the title suggests this is for anyone to display their art or anyone else's in all forms, as an Artist myself I often find art, confronting, appealing, moving or down right mind boggling, use this thread to post links to anything artistic that takes your fancy, perhaps even recent art purchases, anything goes.

This one is amazing, this artist has all the patience in the world, some of the results are astounding.

She began drawing at age 7 and is now 22 she has spent at least 2 hours EVERY day in drawing since she was 7.

If you like any of her work it is available for sale or you can commission her to do you a drawing if you tell her the subject matter

For me. It is art if when I look at it, listen to it, or feel it, it empties my mind of everything else.

There is no one right answer.

I went to Art School. Aced Art in Public Schools K - 12.

The question is rattling my mind. Nobody got that answer right, so, it's trick. Like, Art is the quest to search & find the answer, blah blah.......

I feel amazement and fascination and am emotionally moved when I look at art. This helps me to define my definition of what art is, but of course something might be art and still fail to please me, since everyone's taste is different... It has to involve technique to some extent.

Liisa, if I posted anything I'd drawn, you would laugh! I cannot draw well at all.

Liisa, could you show us some of your art? As someone who has been asked, "Why are you painting a green mitten?" when I was trying (in my innocence) to paint the fir tree in our front garden, I have no ego left to be crushed... and I promise to be impressed even with stick figures.
