"Food is very short this week - can I pay you next week?".

Well that Laptop, iPod and Theatre system you bought this week should be tasty enough to tide you and the kids over this week at least - gimme my money!

Take the $17 and then refund all but your listing fees, then relist...

And put the sucker on your BBL

Contact a little after 2 weeks...........

"Sorry, I don't have the money to pay you, will pay when I have it"

Felt like replying saying "I'm not surprised you don't have the money considering all the purchases you made after mine - that you paid for and had delivered" !

Tommy, I'm very sorry, but we have abducted Smee and are holding him in a chilly cellar. We did let him have one pastel blue fluffy blanket so that he wouldn't freeze to death, but we're not letting him go.

So that's where my fluffy blue blanket went!

Well, since it has gone to a good cause, I'll just have to drag out the pink one ... just as well I'm confident enough to wear it.

My best NPB, " My son bid on your auction ".

Auction was for an old celica convertible I had done up.

A few weeks later, on the motoring forum, the ID appeared asking about child safety seats for a 1 year old child, and would it be able to be used on a new born as his wife was pregnant again.

LOL! That's a good one!

I don't tend to get excuses, they just don't pay - but I did have a VERY slow payer recently, who - one week post auction - said they'd pay by bank deposit and could I send details.
Problem is, I send out the Bank details in my 'congratulations you have won!' email.....
So I politely said OK, sent another invoice with details, and waited....

A week later, they emailed saying "the bank says the BSB is wrong"
Funny that, because it's the same cut and paste details I send to EVERY buyer! - and I politely told them that.....

A week later, I open a non paying buyer dispute- and four or five days later, the money finally appears!!!

So, not a non payer- but pretty darn close!
