Now this is just a thought for Christmas ‘09. Seeing as we’re likely to continue our descent into tasty privation, and the soft comforts of despair, might you not consider these kinds of letters as requests for slightly more adult-oriented toys, that may help us flog our way towards a solution to our economic woes of delight? I’m speaking—of course—of light arms, and small caliber munitions.

Simply read every request for economic salvation as a plea for a Colt 45, or semi-automatic handgun, or a—uh… well, whatever (guns aren’t really my thing, I’m more of a WMD kind of guy), and make the drop. With everyone well-armed, the solution will be found in NO time!

(And hospitals will be pleased; what with all the organs and plasma they’ll be overstocked with.)

((And we’ll load it, and lock it, and fire true, and we’ll have the BEST. CHRISTMAS. EVER!))

Disney to Reboot Mickey Mouse, Internet to Make Fun of Them

As some of you may know, your childhood is getting a crotch punt–or as the New York Times puts it, Mickey Mouse is getting a reboot. The article discusses, among other things, a new Mickey Mouse to connect with today’s youth; a Mickey Mouse that is “cantankerous and cunning,” a dirtier Mickey who walks and talks differently and is maybe even a little selfish. Now, while one acclaimed writer maintains that today’s youth is less “cantankerous and cunning” and more “constantly sticky and full of shite,” others say the move is a welcome change. Mickey’s wholesomeness is outdated by today’s standards; if Disney wants him to connect to kids, they need him to be edgier and in your face; he needs to hangout with Yib, Tello and Smee...... and use buzz words or he’ll just disappear completely.

It's not done yet.
Waiting for limited help to show up for wall & lid primer, paint, floor coverings, moulding/trim, electrical, and I'm doing the Custom Cabinets with oak pallets and power woodworking tools.

I'm prepared to die before this project gets done.

Sewar pipes are frozen, AGAIN!
