Title: Searching ALL catergories - how do you do it?
Post by: da_ewok on May 03, 2009, 09:29:33 AM
Often when I get the urge - I poke around ebay AU - just looking - often I end up buying something - could be worth $1 - could be worth $20.00 depends on the mood.

All I used to do was put the letter 'a' in the search all catergoried box and I would be left with the auctions finishing in under a minute and progressing forward in time

Now when I do that - I am given 1 page of auctions finishing in under 1 minute and when I press page 2 - it goes back to a list of all the catergories

I don't want that - I want the items :(

Is there any way around it?

Someone with some more skills than me please?

ewok, you can use a full stop as a wildcard to search all listings in all cateogries in the new ebay search, or for a more specific search you can use two letters followed by an *

alright a* - says I need to put more characters in front

. - does 1 page (as per above) and then spits me out at the list for the second page :(

Will check the link and see what is recommended

Thanks
