I will keep this thread updated on changes to Ebay and PayPal's term Of Service agreements (they change them often and with NO notice in the majority of cases) it pays to be informed.

Most recent Ebay ToS Changes can be viewed below in the link provided.

The changes are clear and obvious due to highlighted text, the Tos on the left is as it was with deleted parts in blue Highlight and the ToS on the right is the ammended current ToS with added changes in yellow Highlight, they are viewed in parallel to make the comparisons easier.

Hi r when did any of us agree to any changes at all in the last 2 years?..... for that matter when did they contact us personally to tell us they were going to change anything?.... wipes they are.....

Good to see you Yib! Even the bank notifies with generally a months notice of any changes. I can understand Paypal not doing so..... cna you imagine 25 emails per day! I'll bet the last person employed to provide that service left before morning tea!!

Tello..... I've been watching your Paypal forum over there. Seems to be many unhappy campers. I read today that the blogs are sying at the end of the month. Does that affect many people?

I don't HATE PayPal... but I think there is unconscionable practice in some of what they do. PayPal's a great idea, but it's got into the wrong hands. In fact, it's got into the hands of a vengeful 3D ... er... bot. I was just about to type "real person" when I realised what I was saying.

I hate What they represent free market enterprise with our privacy, safety and finances?.....Why isn't Paymate being promoted above Paypal? Surely Paymate can accept and make a payment to a paypal account, so why don't I have the choice of joining and using an Aussie Payment System, who ARE accountable within our borders?

So....If I opened a Paymate Account, and wanted to pay someone who has a Paypal Account, isn't that perfectly feasible? i.e. I don't have to be a Paypal customer to accept or make payments to a paypal account do I?. If not, then my problem is solved in terms of the online payment system I would prefer....one that doesn't have gestapo style business practices....
