Flint, Michigan Gets Sued By The RNC

With the midterm elections now being one week away, heightened attention is directed towards election security. This means pumping the breaks on measures like ballot spoiling and illegal ballot harvesting that can be used to tamper with the voting process.

Many of this year’s elections are expected to be close, which could incentivize people who want to cheat.

Across the country, Republicans are hard at work to make sure that elections are fair and see to it that every legal vote is counted. This work is also why Flint, Michigan is being sued by the Republican National Committee (RNC) over its election practices.

What to Know About the Lawsuit Against Flint
According to the lawsuit, Flint hired far more Democratic election inspectors than Republican ones. This is in breach of Michigan law which mandates that election inspectors in each precinct must equally include Republicans and Democrats.

Given that Flint hired only 120 GOP election inspectors out of a total 680, they are far off from the 50% mark. Therefore, the RNC is pushing for the court to make Flint right this wrong and hire the amount of GOP inspectors they’re legally obligated to have on board.

Like other states across the country, Michigan is viewed as a huge battleground where this year’s races could potentially go either way. This makes it all the more critical that communities are appropriately and legally handling elections.

A Problem That Requires More Attention
If Flint, Michigan is hiring far more Democratic election inspectors than Republican ones, there is a very good chance other cities across the state or nation are doing so.

This is a matter the GOP should be closely looking into and raising legal challenges against if the situation demands it.

Many Americans today are concerned about the security of our elections and whether or not Democrats will try to cheat. A huge part of putting these concerns to bed will demand making sure that election inspectors are fairly balanced.

Thus far, the results of the RNC’s lawsuit in Flint remains to be seen. Though there is no doubt that parts of the country will be watching how this all plays out.

If Flint is not made to follow Michigan state law and hire more Republican election inspectors, this will be another serious blow to US election integrity.

In reality.... Both men sustained permanent life long injuries from the Dog Collar and chain matches... Roddy PIper never regained hearing and balance after his ear injury.... they had other injuries too!.....They wanted to make names for themselves, it was during early yars for them..... They both regretted the matches for the injuries.... but they liked how everybody remebered the matches for the brutality..... and the injuries.... which unfortunately were very real... and life long lasting

Ron Tello Culley Roddy actually did come up with that line himself... there is a story behind it, and other parts of the movie.... Roddy was every bit as tough as the role he played. Those chain matches with the collars.... Bad Ideas, not recommended!

It makes George Orwell proud.

Steven Michael King
Ron Tello Culley Madison Avenue type marketing has done that shite to us for decades..... and that fight scene... Damn, they made it work really well.....Fight Choreography was just fantastic, matched the characters, the scene the plot...it was one of the better fight scenes of that time period....

🤔I'm not sure if I find it amusing or concerning that we have people in this community that do not live here full time, but they sure think they know what's going on.😉 They sure think they have all the answers. They are apparently experts at everything.

And I'm sorry but somebody's got to say it, when it comes to these vacation rentals versus full-time rentals these handful of people are making matters worse and should probably learn to stay in their own lane. In all fairness I'm not going to your community trying to call the shots, so what the hell makes you think you have a right to come here and try to call all the shots?

We have enough problems up here dealing with a dishonest city council person who is as toxic as they come. There's honestly no need or desire for all these part-time genius to start thinking they should be making the calls.😡 All you full-time residents and business owners better stop fighting amongst yourselves and drinking the Kool-Aid, and come together with a quickness before you end up turning your future,or lack there of, over to part-time self-proclaimed geniuses.

Between the people following Alan Lee, and the people following the part-time know-it-alls, Big Bear is doomed, and that my friends is the SAD TRUTH??

MOVIE NIGHT

They Live
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/They_Live

They Live is a 1988 American satirical science fiction action horror film written and directed by John Carpenter, based on the 1963 short story "Eight O'Clock in the Morning" by Ray Nelson. The film stars Roddy Piper, Keith David, and Meg Foster, the film follows an unnamed drifter who discovers through special sunglasses that the ruling class are aliens concealing their appearance and manipulating people to consume, breed, and conform to the status quo via subliminal messages in mass media.

The film was a minor success at the time of its release, debuting at #1 at the North American box office. It initially received negative reviews from critics, who lambasted its social commentary, writing, and acting; however, like Carpenter's other films, it later gained a cult following and experienced a significantly more favorable critical reception. It is now regarded by many as a largely underrated work. The film has also entered popular culture, and notably had a lasting effect on street art (particularly that of Shepard Fairey), while its nearly six-minute alley brawl between the protagonists has made appearances on all-time lists for best fight scenes.

The Media/Tech Misinformation Police Are Coming for You!
Neil Patel on Nov 4, 2022

The latest data seems to show voters may be breaking for Republicans in next week's midterm elections. That's good news for them in the short term. In the bigger picture, if that happens, everyone better buckle up. The left and their media and tech partners are going to have a fit.

If Democrats lose broadly in the election, their first move should be to look inward. Their policy choices have contributed to historically high and destructive inflation. By showering the country with too much COVID relief spending and pressuring the Federal Reserve to keep interest rates too low for too long, they helped drive up prices across the board. Their anti-fossil fuel agenda also helped push up energy prices. These choices hit every American budget. Certainly, there were factors at play out of any politician's control, but major glaring policy mistakes played a part. Voters know it, and they seem eager to make the perpetrators pay a political price.

Democrats have also turned off many normal Americans by failing to stand up to the most radical elements in their own party. Taking down the border control policies of the prior administration without a competent replacement plan in place contributed to the growing border crisis. Democrats' efforts to deflect political blame have failed largely because many Democrats expressly called for decriminalizing illegal border crossings in the nationally televised presidential debates.

Throw in radical policies on education and criminal justice and it would be hard for any political group to turn off voters this much if they tried. The results have been devastating. Republicans are outraged, but so are millions of other voters. Most crushing is the huge loss of support for Democrats among their fast-growing and vital Hispanic base.

Rather than wrestle with these self-inflicted mistakes, many Democrats and their media allies are going to be looking for scapegoats. The first will be the American people themselves. There's a growing sentiment on the left that the people have let down the country. According to this worldview, Republicans are now a threat to democracy. The events of Jan. 6 are just a precursor for what could be coming.

President Joe Biden is set to give a national address making this very point. According to this mindset, the midterms are too important to worry about regular Americans' family budgets, about jobs, or even about crime and physical security. Voting, the story goes, is about the future of democracy itself. The story, of course, ignores all the Republican politicians and Republican-appointed judges who steered America through its most recent election controversies.

The same mindset has convinced many Democrats that something as benign as requiring an ID to vote is another Jim Crow. Voting Republican just because you think they may better manage the economy is, according to this growing worldview, essentially a selfish act. More than selfish though, this sort of behavior can only be explained by a breakdown in the system.

The system must be reformed, they will say. The reform they will push hardest is an increased crackdown on misinformation. Once you have deluded yourself into believing all these things, and a massive number of Democrats, media and tech figures definitely have, then it's easy to conclude that misinformation must be the cause of all the problems. If people had good information, they would agree with us. If people don't agree with us, they have to be misinformed.

So where is all this headed? We can look to the last presidential election for one sign. When the Hunter Biden laptop story broke, it was viewed as a threat. Emails on the laptop showed a series of shady business dealings, and they contained hints that Joe Biden himself may have had some involvement. The reaction was swift and brutal for anyone interested in free speech or fair elections. The story was censored.

The predicate for censorship was an allegation that the entire story was likely Russian disinformation. A cavalcade of former intelligence and law enforcement luminaries signed onto the effort to give it credibility. Law enforcement officials used this argument to pressure Big Tech companies. The story was banned altogether on Twitter and buried by the Facebook algorithm.

All this was done despite the lack of any actual evidence of Russian manipulation. All this was done despite the fact that anyone who wanted to could have authenticated the contents of the laptop within hours using the available digital evidence. Our news company, The Daily Caller News Foundation, did just that at the time. The Washington Post used the same technique to come to the same conclusion. The only difference was they waited 17 months to do it well after the election and well after the analysis would have been relevant.

When you're fighting not just to win an election but to save democracy itself, it's easy to rationalize almost any restriction. This is how well-meaning people spiral into committing horrible acts. In that regard, there are growing signs that the laptop saga may have just been a precursor of what's to come. According to news reports, the FBI agent who pushed to suppress the legitimate laptop story is now advising the Biden administration on actions to address misinformation. It would be hard to make up something that insane.

What sort of actions are we talking about? We can look to Brazil for one scary sign. Like ours, Brazil's constitution prohibits government censorship. However, in the name of fighting misinformation, Brazil's election board pushed their media to censor stories in their recently concluded election. Some stories were cut-and-dried, like the false claim by the winning left-wing party that Brazil's populist conservative president was a cannibal.

However, as with all issues of free speech, things quickly became more complicated. The election tribunal even pressured news companies and tech platforms to restrict stories about the winning left-wing candidate's prior conviction for corruption. Those stories were true.

Every authoritarian knows that the power to control information is paramount. The laptop story proves that the misinformation claim was already used in America for partisan purposes. The Brazil example shows these are not theoretical concerns. If next week's American election goes as expected, watch out for the misinformation police.

Elon Musk Acknowledges Left-Wing Censorship Machine Has It Out For Conservatives

By  Ben Zeisloft
Nov 4, 2022

Elon Musk, the new owner of Twitter, acknowledged on Friday that the left-wing establishment has a massive censorship apparatus to which conservatives are largely helpless.

The world’s richest man has been making adjustments to the social media platform and has repeatedly solicited advice from prominent users. Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton noted to the multi-billionaire that the left has government agencies, the legacy media, and nongovernmental organizations “focused like a laser” on pressuring Big Tech companies to suppress and censor online speech, while conservatives only “have a few social media accounts and a handful of groups” fighting for free expression.

Musk replied to the social media post by admitting, “That assessment is more accurate than most people realize.”

Judicial Watch’s YouTube channel was suspended for a week after they posted a video about alleged threats to national security posed by President Joe Biden. YouTube, which is owned by Google, claimed that Judicial Watch was spreading “election misinformation.”

Twitter users with conservative viewpoints have faced similar censorship. Libs of TikTok, a popular account that reposts videos from radical left-wing activists, was locked out of Twitter three months ago for a “hateful conduct” warning. Allie Beth Stuckey, a commentator and podcast host, was suspended from Twitter on two separate occasions, once for saying that a transgender Olympic weightlifting competitor is “still a man,” and again for denouncing a Fox News segment that highlighted a family who claimed their child was transgender.

Musk’s decision to purchase Twitter in a deal that was made official last month appears to have been motivated at least partly by the suspension of The Babylon Bee, a Christian satire outlet which mocked transgender Biden administration health official Rachel Levine. Musk launched his shakeup campaign several months ago with a poll for his millions of followers: “Free speech is essential to a functioning democracy. Do you believe Twitter rigorously adheres to this principle? The consequences of this poll will be important. Please vote carefully.”

However, Musk recently promised left-leaning organizations that he would restore Twitter employees’ content moderation tools. Shortly after taking control of the company, Musk announced that he would create a new content moderation group charged with overseeing all policy initiatives on the platform. “No major content decisions or account reinstatements will happen before that council convenes,” he said.

On the other hand, Musk immediately fired several Twitter executives who had been criticized for their statements against free speech, including chief executive Parag Agrawal and legal czar Vijaya Gadde, who pushed for the suspension of former President Donald Trump and suppressed the Hunter Biden laptop story days before the 2020 election.

Musk, who also leads Tesla, SpaceX, and a variety of smaller startups, released a statement explaining that his $44 billion acquisition deal was motivated by a desire to foster open dialogue and free expression.

“The reason I acquired Twitter is because it is important to the future of civilization to have a common digital town square, where a wide range of beliefs can be debated in a healthy manner, without resorting to violence,” Musk explained. “There is currently great danger that social media will splinter into far right wing and far left wing echo chambers that generate more hate and divide our society.”

Did you know your vote is being manipulated?

According to the media narrative, a Ninja-style MAGA assassin took a hammer to Paul Pelosi, screaming, “Where’s Nancy?!” Wow, just like during the Jan. 6 “insurrection”!

Convenient timing just before the midterms. Of course, the “perp” was clad in his underoos during the attack, lived in a house adorned with rainbow and BLM signs — in the liberal bastion of Berkeley, no less — and with Tom Cruise-like Mission Impossible skills slipped by Fort Knox-type security?

Nothing to see here. Cut and dry QAnon-inspired nutjob.

No media scrutiny or journalistic curiosity.

The media develop a narrative and run with it — leaving inconvenient truths and facts out of the equation. Rush referred to it as the “drive-by media.”

At MRC, we expose the media for who they are -- frauds with press badges. They are in lock-step to sway YOUR vote to put in office who THEY WANT.

Fortunately, MRC carries in its inventory an abundance of truth. It’s how we destroy the media’s fictional storytelling.

Big Tech, the mainstream media, the deep state, and the Democrat party are a barbershop quartet singing the same tired old tune.

Democrats, Not Democracy, Are Threatened

On Wednesday night, the Democrats' leader tried again to rally the faithful. He did not do as he did the day before, i.e., claiming he went to a historically black college (he did not) or that his son died in Iraq (he did not) or that he met the inventor of insulin (he did not) or that war in Iraq provoked the current crisis (it is Ukraine). Instead, he claimed democracy itself is under attack. It is not.

We know democracy is not under attack because President Joe Biden and the Democrats used $45 million to fund the candidates who they claim are attacking democracy. We know democracy is not under attack because the Democrats have made no effort to calm the currents of contretemps rushing through the nation.

Were democracy actually under attack, Democrats would have sought consensus instead of contentiousness. They would not have rushed to force schools to accept boys into girls locker rooms. They would have relied on federalism. They would not have rushed a massive spending bill through Congress that provoked inflation. They would have worked with Republicans to narrowly craft a package. They would not have focused on abortion with no restrictions and Jan. 6. They would have focused on the economy and not wrecking it.

In August of 2021, Biden withdrew American troops from Afghanistan. Former President Donald Trump wanted the same outcome but was smart enough to listen to his advisers and delay the withdrawal until the winter, when the Taliban hunkers down in the mountain snows.

We now know with certainty that Biden's advisers told him not to withdraw during fighting season but wait for winter. Dogmatically, Biden demanded a withdrawal during the fighting season and the Taliban swept into Kabul while we were still there, even as Biden said they would not.

Thirteen Americans died and hundreds of Americans were left behind. For the first time in a very long time, an American president abandoned American citizens behind enemy lines willfully, knowingly and expressly against the advice of his advisers.

Then he lied, blamed others and denied it. The American people saw a president who lacked the empathy he claimed to have. He had promised a soft-hearted normalcy and instead provoked more international drama, just without mean tweets.

Biden's polling never recovered. Time and time again, when given the opportunity to correct, Biden and the Democrats instead insisted either the American public must side with them or democracy itself is under attack. At every opportunity, instead of empathy, Democrats expressed antipathy.

After Terry McAuliffe lost the gubernatorial race in Virginia to now-Gov. Glenn Youngkin, Democrats should have learned two things. First, do not make the 2022 midterms about Trump. Second, work like hell to reverse their policies on schools.

Instead, Biden doubled down about "ultra MAGA" Republicans and hugged the teachers unions so close one would have thought Randi Weingarten, the head of the American Federation of Teachers, was a teenage girl. When the parental backlash began, the Democrats claimed parents were domestic terrorists, like Republicans, but worse. Then they walked it back, pretended it never happened, and lied — claiming they were really the ones who wanted schools reopened.

Much like Democrats now claim they were always the party of freedom, and the Republicans were always the party of slavery, Democrats now claim they were always the party of open, maskless schools and Republicans were the ones who shut it all down.

Nothing has worked. The Supreme Court handed them a gift with the Dobbs decision, ending Roe v. Wade. Women started returning to the Democrats. But then Democrats got ghoulish, insisting there could be no limits on abortion ever, a position that polls as more extreme than the Republican position. Women's and children's educations were at stake, their 401(k)s looked like Rome after the Visigoths entered, and suburban communities rang out with gunshots. They pivoted to the GOP.

So here, at the end of the midterms, Democrats return to screams about democracy. They funded many of the supposed threats to democracy that will beat them. They will learn nothing and forget nothing. After all, it is you, not them, that is the problem.

😂Jesus, take the damn wheel before I start smacking people with a flip flop.😂
Having to remind myself multiple times daily that trying be gentle with what I say is a waste of time.🖕🖕🖕

There's a lot of people that sure do get their feelings hurt over something that has absolutely nothing to do with them and is in no way personal.

I keep forgetting that's what happens when people have a guilty conscience. They read something, and more times than not,it doesn't have a damn thing to do with them, but they proceed to lose their shite, and then they get mad when I find it amusing. 🤷???😂😂

Eileen Harvey
They get you going every day Dee time to change that flip flop for a boot.
