The results are based on a survey of 2510 Australians aged 18 years and over conducted in June this year by Galaxy Research.
This figure represents only .0011% of the population or in other words only approx 1 person in every 9000 .... impossible on those small figures to determine the accuraccy of the result over the entire population , this is the problem with surveys that only question a very very minute % of the community
to put this into perspective if there was 90,000 at the MCG and they surveyed 10 people to see how many had spent time in the slammer for armed robbery and 1 said yes the result of the survey would say that 9000 people in the stadium had spent time in jail for armed robbery .... the figures just cant stand up using such a small base of info IMO
