I came here to continue my attempts to get some sort of level playing field for online sellers in Australia…I thought I was following in the footsteps of those who led the “Paypal Rebellion”…people who I came to respect. People whos posts on the ebay round table were read with relish on a daily basis. Instead I find a pack of refugees hiding in a cave arguing over who said what and when before burying it all in the sand and whistling dixie.

This BS siege mentality has destroyed what once had the greatest of potential. That potential has come to zero and has been lost in inane squabbling and petty backbiting that has reduced this sites ability to maintain membership and grow upon its initial premise and promise.

Please remove my membership or whatever title it may have as I no longer wish to be part of something that claims high ideals of freedom of speech and then pulls and hides my posts.

not in the least .... A loved member posted on this thread after a period of absence and has been through a very traumatic time ... I would have found it extremely inappropriate if we didn't welcome her ...
What were we suppossed to do ignore her or start a new thread to welcome her ??

The thread topic was after all hello and goodbye  !
and the OP was more of a statement rather than a topic open for debate, discussion
opinions or advice that may have altered his stance

Smee, That is why I posted to Rose. I did feel bad about seeming to ignore the post by bozo. Not much I felt I could say about it though and did wish to welcome Rose. I can see what brumby means as well...

Its one of those situations where there is no definative right and wrong .... it depends on how you viewed things at the time and what we as an individuals felt appropriate

I have absolutely no issue with welcoming Rose - it's just that I would hate for someone who dropped in on the thread to have thought Rose was just some other bozo.  That would be a travesty.

Anyway, I'm sure we have many other places to talk to Rose - and that we can let this thread descend into the murky depths of faded memories. . .
