I got that Ebay offer too Wheels. Funny thing is I'm an occasional buyer only, I don't sell.
I wonder if they are starting to get desperate?
-
Ditto. I received it as well, and I'm a buyer!
It is at least possible that this is a PR exercise to boost visitor information for eBay, as I understand that shareholders are not entirely impressed with the figures. Woo buyers into selling with what seems like a good deal, and John's your uncle.
I want to assert here and now, very definitely, that I USE the things I have! They're not lying around doing nothing. Ponder on that, PureProfile Survey People.
-
Yes, I received the email on another ID.
-
Don't ebay do this all the time to fudge the figures just before the investors meetings ?
-
i never got invited ....
-
boo hoo hoo
no one invited me
-
we're too kewl bn ...
-
Gr8 & BNWT. Probably because you are already sellers & figure in their statistics. People like Countess & I are not sellers so, if we (& thousands of other buyers only) took up the Ebay offer the figures would be boosted & make Ebay look a bit better on paper.
-
maybe, not sure ubie, wonder if cupie got the offer? I could use it at the moment, have tons here to list would save heaps will ask her

I have only sold one thing - and that was years ago. Other than that, I am a casual buyer.
I didn't get anything like that.
-
I got it! On my Mightyroomouse ID!
I have never sold on that ID....never will.
Nothing in my old selling/buying ID though.
-
Yes I got it too, but not on my selling ID. On an old one I had bought a couple of things on.
Definately seems to be aimed at non selling people and encouaging them to sell and encouraging them to sell off their unwanted goods.

I DID get it.... no email (as yet) but it WAS in my eBay messages inbox!
(Do I just write off the absent email as an eBay glitch...?)

Yeah Brum6y. I never received an email either. My invite was in My Messages inbox as well.
