Ebay give me the shites ! I won an auction Friday... I contacted the seller and arranged extra bubble wrap around the motherboard and box...{ told him I'm willing to pay extra for this }..
I asked for registered post and express mail as Aust-Post use contractors this time of year...
these contractors don't give a hoot about how delicate some parcels are hence the extra bubble wrap...they also get addresses mixed up so registered is the way to go because it must be signed for and not left on the door step...
{ I worked with these guys when I had a courier business and know exactly how they handle goods ! }
So the seller say's I'll get back to you with an all up cost Monday... All's fine !
In steps Evil bay today saying don't forget to pay seller !... DROP DEAD FEEBAY ! Where do they get off telling me to pay ! one day after the sale ?
I contacted the seller and all is understood between me and him....
No ones lodged a non paying bidder ! ..... Ebay need to get the frog outta my business !

so true yib, they have a nerve interfering .... and then they say they are only a venue, sellers are up in arms about this and losing dsrs over it too, the buyer doesnt know the messages are only from ebay and not the seller themselves, most sellers are pretty laid back about payment within reason

I've been getting those demands for payment even after having paid!
I pay instantly (or as soon as I wake and have had my coffee, if it's something I won in the middle of the night).
I'm not annoyed at the seller, but that's because I know it isn't the seller sending those pushy emails. But I can well imagine people who don't know thinking, "Get off my back!", under the impression it is the seller sending those poorly worded and hectoring emails.

Just wait till you buy multiple items in one night....I just bought the last of a lady's jewellery stock listing by listing..lol...and there were about 14......guess what comes next huh??????.

Found my OH one of those navigation things that talk - for her car. The seller was a top bloke who arranged platinum express postage that would be here next day. Well, it wasn't - but the following morning I walked out the front and noticed this package on the letterbox. Yep - that's my $340 item alright. Sticker on the front of it said signature required. Well, didn't happen here!

Aust Post do not deliver platinum express , it is all contracted out to Aust Air Express ... If you werent an honest man you could easily claim non delivery as signature is supposed to be on AAE scanner screen

I have a PO box...mad if ya don't....everything goes there, and they keep it till it's signed for...easy peasy......no shonky contractors cause the PO mail goes straight to the PO's...not via the sorting depots.

IMO E-bong have no right to send anything regarding payment unless the sellers lodges a dispute about non payment..how the hell do E-crap know if I have paid or arranged an extra supplement outside the transaction ?.. as in this case extra padding, x-press post and registering...of course a small seller won't know the cost hence he's getting back to me Monday...
I find E-nutsacks actions to be offensive and undermining the seller...

I agree re those Pay Now bits of nonsense. Never impresses me. I also loathe the list of "similar" items offered by eBay for my delighted appraisal. None of the items are remotely interesting or, in most cases, similar to the item which I have won. :huh:
