Sensationalist git.
While there are some truths buried in there, you will have to keep a sharp eye out for them ... and the language is hardly objective.
But this bit is just bizarre:
"
As shopkeepers and shopping centre investors face a demanding period in the months ahead, Deborah Sharkey, the head of eBay Australia, addressed an online forum on Friday - her address was so enthusiastically attended they had to set up an overflow room in Sydney's Westin hotel."
The "Online Retail Forum" referred to at the Westin was not all about eBay. Here is the information panel that outlined the forum - which you would see on your way to the Webcast:

Poor old Deborah Sharkey, didn't even get a mention by name.
As for her contribution in a 4 hour event ... well, here is an extract from the program showing the scheduled times:

Topic: eBay’s experience in Australia and what makes for success
11:15 amYep - 20 minutes ... including questions is all Deb was allocated. "
her address was so enthusiastically attended they had to set up an overflow room" ...?
