G'day Poddy. I wonder how many will fall for that one. They ( the authors) couldn't even get the spelling correct.

Very, very true, Poddy. That's why I tell people to NEVER EVER EVER EVER click onto links in emails.

What you do as a habit (thinking you know the email's legitimate) you are more likely to do when worried or flustered. People who click onto email links KNOWING that the links are legitimate are increasing the risk they'll click onto a bad link one day.

But if people get into the habit of never, never, never, never, never, never, not under any circumstances, just never, I mean never, absolutely never clicking onto a link in an email, they will have that ingrained habit to act as a brake when they fall into panic mode.

Funny though....when I see those fishing scams...I wonder where they originally got the main text of them from..lol

What is the bet that all those scammers are guilty of supplying false info to Ebay at some stage...lol

Help me:

Is that 'mixed metaphores', oxymoron, self-fulfilling Prophecy or bittersweet paradigm?

There's something about that array of words that begs a sarcastic remark, bad joke or passive-aggressive comment.

And I have delivered none of the above.

Roo, how can you possibly suggest that scammers might have tried to scam eBay! What outrage! No, no, I believe those scammers are actually missionaries, teachers and school crossing attendants in real life.

 :smee!: :rifle: "Take that!"

Digressing to "Back on Topic": I believe this issue has been posted here recently.

I distinctly remember posting: "I get the biggest kick out of those PayPal emails telling me that I have a dissatisfied buyer awaiting my response.......

...I've never been a Seller!!!"

    :smee!:

Now what's yer whinge, Mate?
Ya going all "Seller Elite Syndrome" on my watch?

Say so; I say:

" 'scuuze meeee, smee! Not all of God's Creatures were born with an eBay Sellers' Account.

Some of us have to Buy for a Living.
And do you see any of my buying history on yer screen?

NO!
Why?

Cuz you weren't selling what I wanted, and what I wanted...I bought from all those wonderful "Other Guys". That's right.

Did you happen to earn over 100 Thousand Dollars (US) in yer illustrious Selling Career?

No? Saaad.

That's how much I spent in 4 years of "Power Buying".

And it FEELS GOOD!

End of yer whinge, eh?"

Am I correct?

I've bought from Smee. I'd give him more than 5 stars (but not chocolate stars because - sorry - I'd have eaten them. Sorry, Smee).

nuthin's up .... I was the one bein' dissed .... wrong target .... I dont take kindly to being seriously and incorrectly belittled.....  the wrong reign has been pulled....  at their peril....  pardons can be granted  if repent, show remorse or plead insanity .......not forseeable .... requires intestinal fortitude or gonads

I have no doubt that you Aussies buy from and sell to each other the same 147 items, every shopping day!

Here in Montello, the same 100 Dollar Bill changes hands and never leaves town.
It's the one I dropped at the store years ago. It's embossed with my Corporate Seal, so I know it's my prank!

Pls, got a link to smee's FeedBack?

You know I've posted mine...and it's ALL REAL! Not  those crappy watered down "false-positives" like all those other numpties get all the time.....

Link, please?
I just wanna......see? Compare notes? Market research?

----->Nosey.
