Great advice to the loosers
« on: October 11, 2009, 12:26:49 PM »
Being new here, I have just been reading some of the advice given re: buying and selling.
All very good advice.

i got done in on oztion to the tune of $50 about 4 months ago.  After writing to Admin about the problem, the seller seemed to have just disappeared.  Admin got no where and I was left without my item and/refund.

I did notice this seller is registered on ebay but never sold or bought anything.  In the end I just came to the conclusion this person must have kicked the bucket.  Luckily Admin froze their account b4 others could loose their money.

Still the next time something like this happens to me, I will know where to look for advice.

WELL DONE!  and for those ppl who haven't read this help section, do so.  It may save you some money and your sanity.

 :congrats:

Welcome, Lacy - there's so much experience and so many different perspectives here that I think it does provide a good resource for people with online consumer problems.

There's nothing worse than that sinking feeling when you realise you're not going to get the item for which you paid... and it's exacerbated when there seems nowhere to turn and nothing that you can do.
