Can I ask if anyone is using a different ID than what we knew in the old RT?

I see that people have stuck to their normal ID's but there are a few I have never seen before, just wondering who you are, or if you were just lurkers, who now feel comfortable enough to post?

I would have trouble remembering who I was if I changed my ID stems - easier for me to just stick with the same one

I was primaryaim but as I did not post much I don't think anyone would recognise me anyway and its easier to type primula :)

didi, was it the first or second i you missed ??    I misspelt my buying id so redid it correctly and now have two very similar names, one I have never used. 5 years on and ebay have not derigistered it through non use. I wonder how many they have like that.

Prim, I don't think they ever deregister names - otherwise they wouldn't be able to boast 5 million Aus users!

When I registered for Twitter I just tried wheels and couldn't believe it that the name was available so signed up on the spot. It wasn't until a few days later that I realised I was wheeels!

Hi primula.  It hasn't been around for awhile. Gave it up at about the time the old Couch thread went to the back page. :'(
Had another since then but was heckled by Svengali and his puppet, so left to get back into real life!! :)

Quack!

I didn't think I had seen it lots. I didn't go to the couch thread so I must have seen you occasionally post elsewhere.

It is taking me a while to get used to the new names but I guess after a few weeks I won't try and translate, I will just go with what I see on the screen :)

Fluffy, I would really miss your name if you changed it so I am glad you didn't.

I think it is terrible that anyone HAD to change their name or leave a forum to avoid trolls. I have high hopes this won't ever happen here.

Stems Hi,
As much as I don't want to discuss members of other sites, I do wonder why anyone would manipulate to join using a borrowed ISP or ID. There are no restrictions to join here, anyone can, so long as they adhere to courtesy and respect. No need to be sneaky about it. Takes all kinds I guess.

Well..so do I but if anyone comes here and does not respect this site and its members they will be deregistered, quickly. Everyone should feel safe here. There are very few rules or restrictions, just basic common courtesy and decency. Not hard really :)

Prim - I am the same.

Why anyone would want to join when they have been so vocal in their disdain beggars belief.  Perhaps they just want to see how great a forum can be when it is moderated fairly and with good humour.  They might also want to use our help threads

I am sure they will Prim - and I appreciate how much work there is in creating them.  Only sorry that I know so little about the rules that I am unable to assist.  Oh well - I will just keep chatting and asking questions when I get around to selling

Mtnlane, if you help out with the editing, you'll get to know so much that you'll be a whizz at selling (at least, that's the plan!).

I want to encourage everyone to put forward their experience and knowledge.

Did you know we have some UK eBayers here as well? And that one of the admins is from the US?

I'm still me, by the way... I haven't changed my ID.
