God help us all.....unbelieavable....Hockey eliminated on first ballet and Abbott won by one vote....frankly, out of those three, it would be a difficult vote....not one of them shape up as leader material in my view.....

There goes the neighbourhood and the environment....

When will these idiots ever realise that unless the public has confidence in a leader, they haven't got a hope.....how much confidence should we have in Abbott given HIS track record?....

Or even Hockey?....and...when they're reading off the qualifications, it comes out that Abbott and Turnbull are Rhodes Scholars....just like Johnny.....bit of a club going on there I reckon....

I believe good leadership is essential, and it's sad to see that the Liberal party has not had powerful and effective leadership for a while. (I was no great fan of John Howard, either, but clearly he had some qualities that only his Party knew while we were not privy to them.)

Good leadership, care for the people of Australia, concern and workable strategies for the difficult issues facing us, intelligent approaches to the real dangers... These are the things I'd like to see addressed, but I don't think we're going to see it. Perhaps I'm wrong.

I kinda think Joe Hockey will be the leader of the opposition at the next election. He will just sit back and wait for Abbott to stuff up majorly.

I like Rudd, he is one of the first leaders that has actually tried to fix things that were neglected by the previous government. I dont like everything he is doing - but it was under his leadership that this country was one of the very few not to go into recession. Yes - he threw money at the problem - but I think it was needed.

Where I live the schools all had too many demountables - even the brand new ones - now they all have extra classrooms being built finally, and that is good for the economy and society in general.

I am a labor supporter in state elections. And I hope Kev gets re elected. Being in WA means we often know who has won before the election before voting closes here.

I have a great federal MP - he is a liberal - but he certainly looks after his electorate well - so he gets my vote.
