My mother hates me

(The five senses of hate)

I know what hate tastes like

It’s a dry and bitter flavor of darkness that could never seem to depart from the tight corners of my teeth, or the surface of my tongue no matter how hard I’d force myself to spit it out. The acidic flavor continuously crept back in my mouth like a thief would creep through an innocent’s home.

I know what hate looks like

The ill appearance of a woman whose face grows pierced with anger. She’d punish me with cruel consequences even when I committed no crime. A woman who only recognized me as a mistake when I secretly thought of her as a gem.

My mother hates me

I’d replay that one phrase in the illiterate brain that I was forced to claim.

My mother never knew this, but I was always parched with an endless thirst for the love and affection of a mother who, instead of treating me like a son treated me as if I were biodegradable litter, even though I knew that the small percentage of love she had for me lied somewhere in the cold brick of ice that she claimed as a heart.

I know what hate sounds like.

The alerting sounds of alarms that go off at 5:00 in the morning reminding me that it was time to play the role of a suffering slave whose efforts to love her mother were null and void. The life scarring sound of profanity that jumped off my mother tongue, and onto the mask that I often wore as a face.

my mother hates me, and I’ve notice this by the freshly sharped daggers that lye in her eyes that would always seem like they were meant for me.

I know what hate smells like.

The sensational aroma of a handcrafted masterpiece that I left me standing over a burning stove top, with only the little knowledge that my illiterate brain contained. The smells would scatter around the room and find its way to my nose.my mouth would water. I had always been bothered to know that the food I made was being devoured by one who has no love for me as I would sit in a corner, and force feed my self cold gruel and lumpy oats.

My mother hates me and by now I know the process. I know that when we have visitors over, that I’m supposed to paint a smile over my permanent frown.

I know what hate feels like.

The hot wet feeling of an aged stranger rubbing his body against mine, holding my head back, and tearing off my hand sewn clothes, while my mother would stand in the door way scanning through the few bucks she received from giving away her daughters virginity for a pair of shoes that she desired for herself. For once I wished to have that one nosey neighbor that would knock on the door. For once I wish to have been saved by the ringing of the phone, but I wasn’t. I cried but the many tears that I shed meant nothing because the god that I gave myself to, decided not to show up that day. I guess he was busy.

My mother hates me….oh yea she hates me.my only solution was god but not even he thought I was important enough to rescue me.

How a Michigan car owner got sued for an unlicensed mechanic accidentally killing a coworker during an oil change

A Michigan man is being sued for the death of a mechanic for simply bringing his Jeep into the dealership for an oil change.

In March 2020, Sergio Enrique Diaz-Navarro brought his red 2019 Jeep Wrangler into the Rochester Hills Chrysler Jeep Dodge dealership for an oil change. Sadly, a tragic event happened during the service call of the car.

Daniel Thompson, 19, was working on Diaz-Navarro's Jeep on March 13, 2020, when the vehicle “lurched forward,” crushing 42-year-old mechanic Jeffrey Hawkins against a cabinet, according to court records.

"Thompson reached into the vehicle and pressed brake with his right foot, keeping his other foot on the floor," the court documents state. "He pressed the start button. When the vehicle did not start, he took his foot off the brake and depressed the clutch pedal. He again hit the start button. This time the Jeep started. He removed his foot from the clutch, still standing outside the vehicle. The vehicle lurched forward."

Thompson reportedly didn't have a driver's license and didn't know how to drive a manual transmission.

Hawkins – a father of four – died from the tragic accident.

"He starts the engine, removes the clutch, and then a terrible thing happened - the car lunched and killed my client," attorney David Femminineo – who is representing the Hawkins' estate – told WJBK.

Despite Diaz-Navarro not being behind the wheel or anywhere near his own vehicle during the fatal event, the family of the deceased victim is suing him for negligence. Hawkins' family expects to receive more than $15 million in damages from the car owner that was not present during the deadly accident.

Femminineo admitted, "We can't (sue the dealership) because of a legal standard that is involved."

The attorney said that the dealership can't be sued because of a legal standard preventing an employee from suing their boss for negligence.

The Washington Examiner reported, "Diaz-Navarro is considered liable for giving his keys to the dealership because of a vicarious liability law in the state that holds that owners are automatically liable for the negligence of drivers — a principle that could extend to mechanics, valet attendants, and others."

Diaz-Navarro's insurance company has already paid $100,000 for the accidental death.

A lawyer for Diaz-Navarro said, "When you hand your car over to anybody, including the valet or the person at the service desk at your local dealership, you better be able to trust that person."

Carscoops reports, "The dealership is not getting away scot-free, though. Rochester Hill Chrysler Dodge has been ordered by the court to indemnify Diaz-Navarro if he is found liable of negligence."

"So in reality, the owner is going to be held responsible, but the dealership’s insurance company is paying," Femminineo told the Kansas City Star. The dealership is expected to appeal the decision if they are held liable for the death.

The lawsuit against Diaz-Navarro is scheduled to head to trial at the end of May.

Bill Maher weighed in on student loan forgiveness – which he deemed as a "loser issue." During the same episode of "Real Time with Bill Maher," a notable Democratic strategist reamed out Democrats for being experts in "pissing off the working class."

Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) has been the most vocal proponent of student loan cancelation – despite, at times, dodging logical questions about her proposal. However, two long-time, die-hard Democrats explained why student loan forgiveness is a "loser issue" during Friday night's episode of "Real Time."

"We who didn’t go to college and didn’t benefit from that are gonna subsidize you, to get your degree in gender studies and sports marketing and all the other bulls**t," Maher said of the student loan forgiveness proposal.

Maher then declared, "I think it’s a loser issue."

Begala then sarcastically sneered at his own party, "We Democrats have a lab, two labs actually, secret labs – one in Berkeley and one in Brooklyn, where we come up with ideas to completely piss off the working class, and it’s working wonderfully."

"And they all have PhDs right in pissing off the working class," said Begala – who was the chief strategist for Bill Clinton's successful presidential campaign in 1992. "Somehow, in my lifetime, the Democrats have gone from being the party of the factory floor to being the party faculty lounge."

Begala explained how he recently went to visit a machinists union in Chicago, and not one of the blue-collar workers mockingly said, "Gee, I really hope you take my tax dollars to pay off the debt of somebody who went to Stanford."

Begala – who is currently a CNN political commentator and a research professor of public policy at Georgetown University's McCourt School of Public Policy – mentioned President Joe Biden is considering canceling up to $10,000 of student loans – which he supposed was a "good" gesture, but had a different idea.

"But what I’d much rather see Democrats do is go back to their roots, which is earn it," Begala proposed. "We’re the party that carried the G.I. Bill, and nobody called that free college because it wasn’t. The guys who got the G.I. Bill earned it."

"Why don’t we have a system where we say, 'You want to get out of your college debt, serve your country – Marine Corps, Peace Corps, AmeriCorps.' Not everybody can carry a rifle, but you can mentor a kid, and you should give two years of service," the Democratic strategist suggested. "Then you will have earned that and expand it. So we have community college job training. We need more mechanics, not MBAs."

Maher then bashed Democrats for having "this idea that you’re a better person if you sit in class more and more and get more and more degrees."

The liberal political pundit and comedian called for college to be cheaper "because most of it is bulls**t anyway."
