Checking out your internet banking isn't always exciting - working out what to do with all the money you don't have - but, today I saw a little note to the side which made me smile .....

Yibs, let me make it easy for you...
The place you are looking has a text colour of #000000 and a background colour of #000000. Unfortunately for you, the screen capture only picks up pixels.
...but if you need to know, it's a 5.
-
You know what Brumby....that just made me smile....finally competition....hehehehe

Mine is a little boring - but it sure made me smile. This morning I took my god daughter to the foreshore and quite a few people commented on what a beautiful daughter I had - that made me smile.
My mother and I saw the This is it movie - that made me smile.
I had lunch with my grandmother, mother and stepfather - that was nice
Then we all went over to see my sons new place - he kissed me - that made me smile too.

I know a whole lot more serious stuff Brumby ~ however I won't display any of it ... I have a reputation to uphold here as being the village jester ... as barnoda would say "cheers" :wine: .....LOL

A couple of people at archery today got attacked by leeches, that made me smile.

There was Utah Girls in Montello today.
The Investigation continues...
-
I had A Coffee with MM on monday and a beer with Retro today ... both made me smile
-
Utah Girls came to town and changed nothing, except me?
We are all waiting cell-phone email photos...
-
An Australian One Pound banknote arrived in the mail today.
Made around 1961 I think.
Came from someone I'd helped out. I hadn't asked for it or expected anything in return.
Bit of a shock actually.
Nice lady. Nice thought... it will be treasured.
Thanks 'you know who'. I'll get stuff off to you soon.
-
Gee Misha, that note's as old as me. I hope it's in the same Mint condition! ;D
My Mum used to say it's a good day when you wake up and your name's not on the summary page of the obits. I smile at the start of every day but I'm not always smiling by the end of the day.
The new puppy in our house makes me smile. :D He is a gorgeous 4 month old samoyed. Unfortunately he has destroyed every pot plant on the deck and all the new shrubs in the garden. At least my tomato plants in the tomato plant hanging thingy have survived.
-
What made me smile today?
Watching my daughter accept a trophy at her Public Speaking Graduation... :-)
-
Hi Roo!
Yeah, that's cool!
Public Speaking izzint an easy task, for most folks.
As a Showman, I'm a 'Natural'. My worst fears are:
>The sound sytem goes bonkers
>The Podium falls down
>Being pelted with rotting vegetables
Congrats to yer Girl!
-
Thanks Tello!
Yep...It ain't that easy to get up in front of a room full of people...but she did well.
I'm one proud Mum tonight...that's for sure.

And--A happy eBay tale--
I asked Live Help a question last night---not the robots--- and had excellent assistance. And,there were only four in the queue ahead of me so I had a very short wait for assistance ;D

But in a previous life, I was involved in Disaster Recovery Planning which involved risk assessment. On the basis of a competent assessment of the risk involved in accepting your bet (all of about 4.75 seconds) I will have to decline.
-
understandable Brumby ... your odds of winning lotto are greater
-
My lucky evening  :bounce:  :bounce:

I smiled today because my dog Kita came through her surgery really well, and today was actually running around with her favourite toy ( she's not supposed to yet- but she's a boxer and they just can't do the "rest" thing at all)! ;D
:dogrun:
-
That's great Bell. ;D
-
Yup! ;D
Just waiting on the pathology results now... I hope the news isn't toooo bad
I almost want to do the :hearnoevil: but I guess we need to know.
-
That is so good to hear, Bell ;D Boxers are so much fun.
Maybe I should have put :liar: :liar: :liar: :liar: instead of :sing: :sing: :sing: re the crocodile in my frog pond....went and apologised to any lurking froggies :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:
Go away spell check...I prefer "s" ;D
:roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao:

My highly trained retriever croc. He fetches well but hasn't learned to bring the kill back yet.

Bella, I'm so glad your dog survived the surgery. I know it's frightening waiting for the news, waiting for the results, and tempting as it is to do the emu thing, it's very embarrassing for emus who forgot to put on their underwear that morning.
I am smiling because I smile every day.
-
That is a relief, ubbrd :pmsl: :pmsl: :pmsl:
-
Entice him with Pluto Pups!
-
Thanks countess - your comment about emus in underwear made me smile too!
-
Hi Bella, how is your little one? Do you have the results back yet?
Our new baby had his shots today and has been sooky ever since. I hate to think what he'll be like when he gets desexed in a couple of months time.
-
My new pet Fergus enjoying a can of Pepsi Max with me today.
My thanks to Yib for his computer genius.

-
Ubb, I've heard it said that Pepsi Max can cure eye problems (not forgetting it is also the cure-all for constipation, dandruff and the ebola virus).
Is that why little Fergus is lapping it up?
-
You got it Wheels. Poor little fella's cross eyed, 500 looking left & 500 looking right. Pepsi Max will have him seeing straight in no time.
-

Wheels, results will be in next week - the vet was happy that the growth was still encapsulated (sp?) so didn't put a rush on it - it's costing me $180 as it is to find out what the big tumour was!
Today, Kita made one of the 2 smaller op sites (on her foot) bleed - silly bu***r just will not stay quiet!
(she was "protecting" me from the garbage men, you understand - through a fence!!)
:dogrun: :dogrun:
-
Good guard dogs are hard to find ;D
While we were waiting at the vets today my son's dog was barking like mad every time another dog walked past. They were all sweet tiny little things and he probably thought they looked like a tasty afternoon snack!

brumpity brump brump ...
my lil nephew in nz got out of hospital after being very sick over the whole of xmas, missed the lot, viral meningitiis but now ok and home resting ... that really made me smile, was like an episode of "House" trying to find out what was wrong with him but they did
