Tray of mail-in ballots suddenly discovered in post office nearly two years after election
August 24, 2022

Nearly two years after the 2020 election, some voters in Baltimore just received their mail-in ballots.

Wait, what happened?
That's right.

Baltimore voter Nick Frisone contacted WMAR-TV after he received his 2020 mail-in ballot on Aug. 6, 2022 — nearly two years after he was notified that his ballot would be delivered.

Frisone told WMAR he knew his ballot had gone missing. That is because in late September 2020, he received an email from the Post Office informing him that his ballot would soon be delivered. But it never showed up, and he eventually obtained a replacement.

"It just never came, so then I had to call the Board of Elections and then I had to go in-person to get a replacement," Frisone said.

When were the ballots discovered?
Tom Ouellette, a spokesperson for the United States Postal Service, explained in a statement that USPS found an innocuous tray of undelivered mail-in ballots from the 2020 election earlier this month — hence Frisone finally receiving his missing ballot.

According to Ouellette, more than two-dozen undelivered ballots were discovered in the tray.

"Regarding ballots seen in photographs from a customer’s email, the Postal Service discovered a tray of undelivered mail in a Baltimore facility on Friday, Aug. 5," Ouellette told WMAR.

"The tray’s mail was from year 2020 and contained what appeared to be 26 blank ballots mailed from the Baltimore City Board of Election to addresses with a Baltimore ZIP Code," he explained. "Those mailpieces were delivered Saturday, Aug. 6."

Ouellette added:

We deeply regret the late delivery of these mailpieces. The Postal Service takes these issues very seriously and is working to help avoid issues like this by going over our processes and procedures with all employees ahead of the general elections. The U.S. Postal Service is fully committed to the secure, timely delivery of the nation’s Election Mail. We are in close communication with the Baltimore City Election Board and look forward to a successful election in November.
Baltimore City Election Director Armstead Jones condemned the discovery.

"Individual pieces can be lost, having a tray lost is a little different story. It has to be sitting somewhere around somebody and somebody needs to look and see what it is," Jones, who once worked as a part-time postal service employee, told WMAR.

Anything else?
The discovery perhaps underscores a talking point of those who advocate for enhanced election security. In the case of Frisone and his neighbors, the election system failed them by creating additional roadblocks to participating in the democratic process.

As for Frisone, he said the experience means he will never vote by mail again.

"It’s supposed to be easy to vote this way, but when the post office misplaces them, we can’t," he said. "If there’s another pandemic, I’ll get a hazmat suit and just go in-person."

CNN’s Jim Acosta lectures Trump’s former DHS chief about 'integrity'

CNN's Jim Acosta invited former acting Homeland Security Secretary Chad Wolf onto his show recently to talk about a certain controversial topic that was okay to discuss until right around November 2020. This topic, which has repeatedly been voiced by failed 2016 presidential candidate Hillary Clinton and failed Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams to name a few, can no longer be questioned, scrutinized, or even mentioned by anyone on the right, at least according to corporate media lackeys like Acosta.

Wolf, who served under former President Trump, told Acosta that confidence in our election system could be restored if we addressed known "irregularities" instead of refusing to acknowledge that there are any problems.

"Our elections are fine," Acosta interrupted, but moments later conceded that "of course, there are some episodes" of fraud.

"Even if there's a small amount, that is worth coming together and trying to solve that at a national level and at a state level so that we can get past this, so that we have some integrity in our elections," Wolf argued.

Acosta accused Wolf of "spreading doubt and fear about our election process."

"These are simply facts," Wolf calmly responded.

At this point, Acosta jumped up on his high horse and started to preach. "We need to have integrity among officials who work in the government and who have left the government, uh, who will tell the American people the truth that the election was decided fair and square."

"We certainly need to have integrity by those reporting the news as well," Wolf stated.

"We do have that integrity," Acosta claimed. "But we expect that of our elected leaders and people who work under them because you can't continue to sow these seeds of doubt about American democracy. It's simply failing the American people to continue to lead them down this path of lies."

"It's not lies, Jim. I'm happy to go through everything that I just said and to go into detail," Wolf said.

"It sounds, it sounds, it sounds like you've watched one too many conspiracy films about the 2020 election," Acosta stammered.

"No, I'm actually reading the news," said Wolf.

On “The Rubin Report,” BlazeTV host Dave Rubin shared a clip of the exchange and came to the obvious conclusion: "CNN is still a propaganda network." Watch the video clip below.

Hello everyone. Someone tried to break into my house this past weekend. They broke a window but didn’t go inside. I have a young daughter and am still very shaken up. I live near VOE elementary. I just want everyone to be on high alert, make sure your cameras are functioning. Let’s stop these careless, inconsiderate thieves. We have video which we have turned over to authorities. Hi everyone. I have a squirrel issue. They go up my trees and eat all the pine cones and drop all the leftovers all over the ground. My trees are being destroyed and the mess on the ground is awful. Is there anything we can do to stop this? We heard to put foil around the bottom part of the tree so they can't climb would help but that sounds hideous lol. Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks.

Led Zeppelin is the best band ever. John Bonham is an absolute animal on the drums. He literally hits the high hat about 400 times alone in this song. The guy was literally the sound of Led Zeppelin. No disrespect to the incredible jimmy page and Jon Paul Jones because they are some of the best musicians to ever live. Let’s not forget the voice, the legendary Robert plant. They had it all.

During the week of August 29, paving will resume along the corridor. The bicycle path will be paved on Monday and the remaining portion of the streets will be paved on the following days.
The detour across Fir Street will remain open and active, however, traffic flagging will be in place so delays should be expected.
