We’ve had a few businesses shut down due to infections. And some that don’t.
Joel Martin Smith
Source for your info? And is that from feb 2020?
Paul Tuffin
My question is how many have recovered
Jaime Perry
Paul Tuffin you should focus more on how many they infected? How many deaths are acceptable?
Paul Tuffin
Jaime Perry seems like you’re more interested in doom and gloom. How about we’d be a little more positive
Aaron Creighton
Jaime Perry the arm chair warrior it is. People often need to be reminded of their responsibilities to others and they often need to be reminded about human life and it's value along with basic compassion and empathy. Those last two things are as rare … See More
Crickett Dyke
Paul Tuffin All but the 3 who died but many have long term issues because of it.
Lizette Grau
How many active?
Jaime Perry
Lizette Grau Crestline 31 in the past 14 days. 120 in our mountain community in the last 14 days. I didn’t count Big Bear since they don’t seem to frequent our areas.
David Yurkovich
Currently active here.
Still recovering
Tracey Moore-Matejka
David Yurkovich I’m happy to hear you are recovering! I have been thinking about you and your family ??
Lizette Grau
Jaime Perry if you had 120 positive in 14 days and now 31, the virus seems to be weaker because recovery is now faster.
Jaime Perry
Lizette Grau no, 31 in crestline alone. 120 total across the mountain not including big bear. That is in the past 14 days
Jake Morrison
Where’s the data coming from?
Jake Morrison
That means 98.25% survived the virus.
Jake Morrison
My cousin just got over it. She is already back to work....in the hospital.
Katie Francine
Wash your hands and turn off the news.
Jake Morrison
Roughly 40% of those people didn’t even know they had it.
Kasaundra Mary Anna Layman
Jake Morrison confirmed cases are people who tested positive. The numbers come from San Bernardino public health, so the “40% who don’t know they have it” would not be included in those numbers.
Jake Morrison
May or may not be true. Leadership has been encouraging everyone, both healthy and symptomatic to get tested.
Jake Morrison
...furthermore, most hospitals are encouraging anyone getting an outpatient procedure to get tested prior to their procedure.
Jake Morrison
Kathy Welch Viterise why do you ask?
Jake Morrison
Why is my medical history any of your business?
David Sommerlad
People do recover but lots of side effects! My neighbors got it and she was healthy now blood clots in lungs and on a respirator for the rest of her life! And yes she is young! Just wear a mask and stop arguing over it! It is not fake news!!!!!
Josh Griffith
David Sommerlad just do what I say and stop arguing with me lol. You sound like a child throwing a tantrum.
Ron Tello Culley
Throw a flag on the play!
Laurie Schonert
David Sommerlad my daughter is an ER nurse. Amputated digits are not common, but also not uncommon.
Ruby Perez-Toth
My cousin is a cop in the Ontario police department who got it a while ago. His eye was slightly droopy for a while and he's 30 and healthy for the most part. This was not stroke related.
Mona Hogan-Twombley
99.4% recovery from this virus, remember this
Virgi Pal
Mona Hogan-Twombley Ah but the after affects causing blood clotting, damage to organs and strokes are what you get after you 'recover'.
Bryan Kooiman
Virgi Pal the poverty, people losing everything, the depression, the suicides...

I love when one person dies on the mountain for a drug overdose or a car crash and everyone will say how much those people meant to the community and those people need to be remembered( or this was a preventable tragedy), but I also think it’s a little odd that some of the same hear that people are actively dying on the mountain from a virus you can help prevent by wearing a mask and half of you say “felafel em, muh rites are infringed” a quarter of you say it’s a hoax and not real( ironically when some of you had it through your own admission) or you say “only 2% of the people infected die.” Do the math. 2% of 330,000,000 people is still 6,600,000 people you guys are cool with dying when you can just stop acting like an entitled jerk who is better than everyone else and just wear a mask and stop drinking with your friends every weekend.

A co-worker just lost his eye sight in one eye. Coughed so much he somehow detached his cornea. He will have to have a cornea replacement to be able to see out of his left eye again. We drive for work so it could end his career without the depth perception.
Lance Mathews
He sent me this picture to show me. Happened within the first days he was positive and coughing really hard

Lance Mathews God bless him I pray he will do good with his eye sugery.
Jake Morrison
Can happen to anyone, but chances are he already had an underlying health condition that contributed to the retinal detachment. He may have had Covid, but it wouldn’t be the only factor.
Patrice Capley Angus
I Know 3 people that have dies from this. Age 85 - 45 - 55 No underlining health problems .
Virgi Pal

Sure, people recover, but the after affects causing blood clotting, amputated digits, damage to organs and strokes are what you get after you 'recover'.
Ron Tello Culley
I'd rather mask up than lock down.
