🥺500+ homes for sale in the Big Bear Valley. (per Zillow).
Apparently a lot of people who didn't bother to do their own research finally figured out they weren't going to make the almighty big bucks off of tourists year-round to pay their mortgage.
It looks like many of them are jumping ship. A few of the homes are up for auction, the shite's already hitting the fan it appears.
Problem is the homes are overpriced, so the majority are just going to sit there, empty.
The few that decided to switch back to full-time rentals are asking the most ridiculous prices for rent😂 That's only going to lead to problems for the owners, not the new tenants. They'll get in these houses to rent them and get in over their heads and they're going to end up squatting and the owners are going to end up with all kinds of Court expenses to do evictions.
Because again, nobody bothered to do their research . 🤷???
Anybody with an ounce of common sense who knows what's going on right now in Big Bear, are not going to buy anything.🥺
The future of Big Bear is not looking too damn bright🥺🙏🙏

Dee you said it from day one. I knew this and a realtor argued with me I didn't know what I was talking about. Yes I do. When you pay more for something than it's worth then you will lose.

Its a shame. Had to many developers and lack of snow. Then the water gets low or bad . But the roads suck and its a nightmare trying to enjoy a drive up there with people riding your butt. Love going up there but its just to crowded on the roads and fast drivers. Not enough water areas to go to and swim either.
